Our Story
Organic Body Works is an Organic business growth related to the growth of natural systems and organisms, societies and economies, customer base expansion, or new product development, as opposed to mergers and acquisitions, which is inorganic growth.
Organic Body Works was created February 2008 when I was researching to find a cure naturally for my mother. Then I started branching out and making my own products for washing my hair, deodorants, body butters, body sprays, and more. One day I brought my body butter to work with me and a co-worker asked if i had lotion I let her use my body butter she could not stop touching her arm and smelling her arm all day long she asked me where did I get my product I told her that I made it she was like how much would I charge her for her own. I was like “I don’t know!” Never gave any thought about selling my product. She said,”girl you need to start”. I said, “ I would look into it”. Then I started giving them as gifts to friends and family they wanted to purchase again i never thought about selling my products I just wanted to bless people. Still today I give product away and people keep telling me to stop. True Story
Organic Body Works was created in my own kitchen, branching out throughout the house to host all these products, creating all types of products, packaging and shipments. Sometimes I had events and sold my products at flea markets which had other retail stores in the building.
