Our Holiday crafts fair schedule is starting to take shape. Our first one is at Sedgwick Elementary sponsored by the PTF. It is on Saturday the 4 of November 2023 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
We will also be at the craft fair sponsored by the Bucksport RSU 25 All Activities Booster Club at Bucksport High School Gym from 9 AM to 3 PM on the 18th of November.
The next weekend, we'll be at the Brooksville Community Center from 9 AM to 1 PM for their annual craft fair.
So November is busy! We will be using only one table this year and offering smaller stained glass object and jewelry. We will have our picture catalog and be very happy to offer estimates on any ideas you may have. We reduced our display to accommodate "old shoulders". We haven't changed what we offer in the way of glass art.
We hope you get a chance to visit us at one of these fairs. If not, please look over our photo albums at https://www.facebook.com/bagaduceartglass/photos or give us a call at 207-837-3733 and leave a message.

So we've done a few smaller jobs in the studio this past month or so. Been busy gardening, too. Really enjoying the Spring we haven't had for a couple of years.

The first picture is of a dragon fly light catcher we made as a birthday present for special friend. We are thinking of adding this to our "spec" line for craft fairs etc.

The second picture is a graduation present made for our youngest Granddaughter who graduated from St. Dominick's this year. The school colors are black and white and our Granddaugther likes shades of blue, so we combined them.

The last picture is of one of two repairs we recently finished. The owner found these 2 mandalas on sale somewhere and liked them. A few pieces of glass needed replacement and they needed to be re-soldered for strength. We also cleaned and polished and renewed the suspension chains.
Hope everyone is enjoying this first part of Summer. We would love to h ear from you if you either want a new piece, repairs for an old piece, or any inquiries about what we may have in stock as "spec" pieces.

Next project! Here's a small lamp. The shade measures 8 1/2" on each side. The base is a repurposed Patron bottle filled with dark blue glass beads.

The latest project is a stained glass, marine chart inspired, piece of the Maine Coast. It is 24"X 24" and is back lighted with an LED flat panel light for better display on a wall. The frame is 4" deep. The entire unit weighs approximately 24 pounds. The frame could also be designed to be self standing.

We'd love to speak with you about what you might like for a stained glass piece. Free estimates. IM or call 207-837-3733 or email [email protected]

We'll be here December 3rd from 10 AM to 2PM along with other fine artisans and crafts people. This is a great way to find stocking stuffers and gifts, with the added bonus of supporting local, small business. We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who stopped by the Brooksville Community Center yesterday. It was a busy day.

Apparently Face Book has changed something (once again!) I intend to keep Bagaduce Art Glass as a business only Face Book page. Some of you may have noticed other post sneaking on to the page. My apologies. Face Book has decided that they know better what I intend than I. Believe me, if you see a non-related post, it's Face Book trying to take over, not me. Thanks
