Who We Are
Point of Access Inc. is a non-profit organization that assists eligible individuals that have limited, or no prescription drug coverage in applying to the major pharmaceutical manufacturers’ patient assistance programs to obtain needed medications. Individuals must meet program and income guidelines set by each manufacturer to qualify for assistance. Our

Our mission is to increase awareness of patient assistance programs and encourage the enrollment of those individuals who are eligible. We provide a single point of access to more than 400 assistance programs offered through the pharmaceutical manufacturers. Our Vision
A world where every person has access to the prescription medications they need. What Does It Cost? There is no cost for your medication. Point of Access, Prescription Assistance Program charges $25 per individual, per month to cover costs of operating and providing this service to you. Are There Hidden Costs? Most medications obtained through this program ship to your home or to your physician's office. Some physicians send the medications to local pharmacies for labeling and dispensing. The $25 monthly fee charged by Point of Access does not include costs that may be charged by a local pharmacy for this service. Who is Eligible? You are potentially eligible if you:
Have limited, or no prescription drug coverage. Meet income guidelines:
Family of 1: Less than $35,310 per year
Family of 2: Less than $47,790 per year
Family of 3: Less than $60,270 per year
Family of 4: Less than $72,750 per year
For each additional person add $12,480 per year
Individuals with Medicare Part D and, or who have incomes higher than those listed are still potentially eligible for enrollment. Please call us for details. How Do I Enroll? If you are interested in enrolling in Point of Access PAP:
Call the number listed below an enrollment specialist will conduct a preliminary screening over the phone to determine eligibility for enrollment into this program. When Will I Get My Medications? Medications generally are received within 6-8 weeks of the application being submitted. How Do I Obtain Refills? After your initial supply of medications is received, Point of Access will automatically process reorders for your medication in accordance with the pharmaceutical program guidelines if:
Your account is current and your $25 monthly fee has been paid. Your physician signs the renewal application and provides the required prescription. Important Notice: It is the client’s responsibility to notify Point of Access when:
You receive medications ordered through this program. There are changes in current medication strengths or dosages. Your physician prescribes a new medication. Once availability of a new medication is confirmed and the initial enrollment process complete, it can take 6-8 weeks before medication is received.
