Hope you are all doing well. Except for stories, I have been so quiet on here. Social media has just felt like an impossibly daunting task lately with everything that’s going on in the world. I know a lot of you can relate to those feelings. I was busy unpacking some boxes today and found my little collection of WWII finds I’ve collected over the years. I thought I would give you guys a peek. Among the items are a little leather coin purse filled with ration tokens, victory pins (one has Morse code on it 😍, and a sweetheart locket💔. I don’t know the people in the photos but I like to think they were reunited. All the vintage treasures and parts I have collected have been calling to me again over the last few months. I’ve been trying to sort through what I’ve keeping and what I’m setting free. Etsy has been keeping me so busy! Grateful to all of my customers old and new 🙏 I’ll try to post more vintage fun as I keep unpacking. For those of you that haven’t know me for years, my company name Vintage Fairy Finds came about because my friends used to refer to me as the “vintage fairy”. I would find impossibly old things with extreme ease. History just calls to me. Old trinkets old rocks lol I love the stories behind little bits and bobs. These are just a few examples from my personal collection & aren’t for sale, but I will be posting more treasures in my Etsy shop in the days to come! Stay tuned!

I’ve seriously caught the creative bug that has been dormant for waaaay too long! Having so much fun creating new things for this weekend’s Night Market hosted by ✨ I know some of you have sent messages asking for prices of pieces and crystals I’ve been sharing in my stories. Just wanted to let you know I’m not avoiding you! I honestly haven’t priced anything yet. It’s for real my least favorite thing to do and yet a very necessary part of doing business lol. It’s taking me a minute to regroup coming out of this period of no shows for almost a year! I ordered so much stuff, I have been overwhelmed unpacking it and trying to weigh and price it all while keeping up on etsy orders. I have repacked all of my small crystal trays. I’ve got a few more jewelry pieces on my work table that are half done. As soon as I’m finished I will start pricing everything over the next couple of days and get back to everyone. Ended this year unpacking this incredible box of vintage new old stock! 1940s Japanese Glass Pearls and Cabochons, Vintage Swarovski Charms, and Beautiful Mother of Pearl Horseshoe and Cross Pendants. I can’t wait to use these treasures in 2021! I’ll be posting some in my Etsy shop over the next few days too for all of the other creatives out there! Link to my shop is in my bio. You guys!!! I have them spread out all over my work table! Omg I want them all 😂🙌😍 Been waiting for these recycled vintage sari silk pouches I special ordered from a vendor in India. I met her in Tucson several years back! Since I haven’t been able to shop in person this year, I’ve been tracking down my favorite people from old shows & sending some business their way! I love meeting people from all over the world at trade shows. Especially vendors that sell handmade items! Fingers crossed things continue to open up more and I’ll get to shop my favorite vendors in a few months and hopefully meet a few new ones too! I’ll be setting up a table in front of my neighbor’s awesome little vintage shop we will be joined by a few other vintage vendors as well! It finally feels like fall! 🙌🍁🍂 it’s my favorite time of year! Busy making some new pieces for this Saturday! I’ll be setting up outside my art studio in Pomona on the side of the building by Sandra with a few other awesome vintage vendors! I’ll bring a bunch of my crystal and jewelry. I’m so happy 😁👏🙌 I love love love Herkimer Diamonds. I was starting to freak out a little because I’m down to my last few stray pieces! With everything so up in the air, I’m unsure if Tucson is happening in January so I went ahead and hunted down the guys I usually buy from. I like to shop in person so I can pick out the exact strands I want but I’m beyond happy with what they sent me! Super high quality AA Herkimer Diamonds center drilled! The clarity on these is just amazing! I just relisted some in my Etsy Shop for all you other creators out there! For those that are unfamiliar with Herkimer Diamonds they are actually not Diamonds at all. They are an extremely rare form of naturally double terminated quartz. Their facet formation is 6 sided and is all naturally formed. They look like they are hand faceted but that’s all Mother Nature’s handy work! ✨They were 1st found in Herkimer County, New York ( hence their name Herkimer Diamonds) and have recently been discovered in Pakistan as well! They’ve yet to be found anywhere else in the world! Don’t let their size fool you! These babies pack a punch! They amplify whatever you combine them with. Their vibration is extremely high! Their energy signature is unmistakable and they are just gorgeous shiny little things that I can’t resist! 🤩 Doing my happy dance! 💜✨💫

Swimming through a sea of sparkle right now 😍 just got some hard to find Apophyllite Points! One of my very favorite high vibrational stones to work with! Besides being gorgeous, there are very few crystals out there that open the crown chakra. Apparently the monsoons in India this year are making these babies extremely hard to source. I have some in 3 different sizes! I’ll be photographing some individual pieces for Etsy and lots more this week including those gorgeous amethyst pieces lurking in the back of this photo! I tried to post this yesterday and I couldn’t find center so I decided to wait. I am an empath which I know many of you are as well. The energy is so all over the place. Feeling so many emotions all at the same time is overwhelming. Please make sure you are clearing your field, grounding and finding center. (If you don’t know how, message me.) Don’t forget that whatever you put out in the world comes back to you. Energy is energy. What you want to bring into your life? You can’t fight fire with fire. Your anger and outrage is justified. Feel it, scream, let it out, process your emotions in a healthy way. Wishing harm on others is not the way. Check yourself. It’s not easy to do this shadow work but it’s how we heal, grow, and change. It starts with you. This is a deep ancestral wound we are trying to heal as a collective. Do your part. Be an example for others. We have to all work together. Shifting blame, making absolute statements, and creating more divide is counterproductive. Be respectful, be kind, have personal conversations with your friends and family. Stop and process your emotions before you block and unfriend a person with opposing views. If you block them then you are limiting who will hear what you are trying to say and you will find yourself preaching to a choir of people that believe exactly what you do. Nothing will change if you don’t plant seed in someone and see if it grows. You don’t know who’s silently reading your posts and refraining from commenting because they are still processing their fear and trauma. We have something to learn from everyone. Everyone is a mirror. Remember that racism is taught. An innocent child has no control over what trauma their parents pass down to them. It is time for us as a collective to break all of these abusive cycles. Everyone has a role in this moment in time. Drop into your heart center. Forget what anyone is saying you should do. What are you being called to do? What kind of world do you want to live in? Don’t forget love conquers all. Be the change. Lead by example. Sending you all love, healing and peace. Be safe out there! 💜✨🙏🌎☮️

This week has been a wild ride! How are you all feeling? Just wanted to take another moment to thank everyone new to my page and those that have been here for a long time! I appreciate all of of the support. You guys keep me going even on days when I don’t think I can. I spent today posting new treasures in my shop including some new jewelry components for all of you that are creators yourselves! I recently was able to get some silver plated channel set rhinestone charms and connectors.They are sparkly and awesome! I know I’ll be using them in some of my pieces soon. So it seems like things are slowly opening up here. I’m planning on starting the process of moving back to my studio in Pomona. I’m sure my family will be happy to have their living room and dining room back soon 😂I made the decision to bring most everything home during quarantine because I caregive for my mom and she is very high risk. I was trying to do my part to limit her exposure. Going back and forth didn’t make sense. Still trying to make sense of all these new rules. I will let you all know as soon as I’m back and can have people come by in person. I feel very fortunate I have been able to keep my studio space during all of this and am able to return. I’m going to do some spring cleaning this week and I will allow people to come shop by appointment very soon. In the meantime, my Etsy shop is open and most everything is on sale 20% off.
