Kelly & son's painting

Just wrapped up the 2nd part of a house in Jennersville PA. This time it was the Foyer, Dining room, and powder room being painted. Customer wanted shadow boxes installed also. So since I know a thing or 2 about a thing or 2 outside just painting, I took care of it for him. Kelly & son's painting! And not just painting, but finish carpentry also! Your place should look like this too and you know it!

So for the last 7 months, I just basically got lazy and stopped posting job pictures. But Kelly & son's painting is always up to something. First is a part one of a job completed today down in Jennersville. 2nd, is a deck done back in July. Old looking red, to new looking red. Spindles, rails and posts always painted first. Then back just about when the sun comes up to do the deck boards before the hot sun messes up the application. Customers still sleeping while were slapping deck boards. The wife and I officially have all teenagers in the Kelly house now! Happy 13th Birthday to our baby boy Willaim! AKA Willie, AKA, boo boo,. We love you kid. Happy birthday son!

If your in my business, then you know that new construction, and total remodel goes as follow. In and work, let other trades do them, and come back and finish behind them.That goes on and on for a bit. We started this home in the up and coming Brewerytown section of Philly back in mid November. Yesterday we put the finishing touches on it while the owners were away for the Christmas holiday. Lots of different designs, and specific paints with specific sheens across the board. I've known the contractor for a long time, and he does Alot of work in this area of the city. It was a nice compliment when he called me and said he needed Kelly & son's painting for this sort of project he was getting into!

A very special person in my life is 18 today. She lights up every room she walks into, has the greatest sense of humor a human can have, one of the kindest, funniest, and like her daddy, one of the cockiest people I've ever known. Happy 18th birthday to my best friend, my daughter, my baby girl Olivia Kelly. AKA Ms. Drexel Hill. Dad loves you!

So with Mr. Kelly here taking a nice hiatus on FB, Kelly & son's painting took one as well. Since the last job post on June 3 we've been nothing short of busy. But now since there's a whole new Brian Kelly, owner/operator of Kelly & Son's Painting I'll start back with this one here. An Estate sale in Warminster. After wanting all cream thru the home, I suggested to go with a soft gray tone that is friendlier to people's eyes walking thru looking to buy! Not only is it a perfect move right in color, it also acts as a great primer coat for almost any color when new owners want to paint a room a new color! House sold quick, and already got the call from the new owners to come and do just that. So it's almost like I know what I'm doing. You know who to call! 484-844-0835!

Rockin & A Rollin here at Kelly & son's painting again. This here is a complete front deck makeover down in Ocean city NJ last week. Customer gave me a color code and I ordered 2 gallons of what I was told to get. Soon as I opened the can I knew something wasint right. Turns out, what he sent was a solid stain color code, and not the semi- transparent color he thought he chose. I made some calls, and turned out I was right. Saved the day for lack of a better term. Do you want the job done cheap, fast or good!? Cause fast isint good, and good isint cheap! You get what you pay for at Kelly & Son’s Painting. Go half a stack or so cheaper and watch guys say....Well this is what he said so let's slap it on!

Been almost 2 months since the last Kelly & son's painting post. Still working but just some little things. Now the 📱 is ringing again big time. A few of the jobs that have been done are beauties though. 1st, a newly installed fireplace surround that was completely bare wood that got whitened out. And bare wood trim on the floor where I had to mix a few stains together to come up with an almost perfect match, along with all white, formerly blue bookshelves. 2nd is another PT place that changed color coordination, and 3rd was a sufficient leaching nightmare bathroom that needed all the skills the kid has to fix, then paint. Summer looks pretty busy from here on out though!

Last couple weeks Kelly & son's painting did 2 more locations for a PT company who's rebranding name, and colors at most all locations. Night work is pretty cool, but it's the body clock thing that gets you! If you know me, you know I can't sit idle. So the last 2 weeks, if it was nice out, myself among others helped during the days with whatever we could to get our baseball league complex ready to go for opening day. Problem is, then it was real work time by 6 or 8pm into the time when the birdies start to churp! Then same thing the next day! Took its toll but it's over for now!

Kelly & son's painting jumping into something different here. Weekend & night work at a physical therapy location. It never hit me until my coworker said it, but taking care of a guy in a jam a while back, and doing his daughter's small bathroom before a big party, might possibly turn into something huge. These pictures were taken at 135am Monday night after we wrapped up so they could be sent to managers of other places. And now more locations want work done. Just might have to adjust my body ⏰️ for the hours work needs to be done!

Kelly & son's painting just wrapped up these 2 jobs in the last week also. No pre pictures of one, which is an apartment in Ventnor NJ. But picture the exact opposite of what's seen here 🤔🤔. Yea! It was that bad! Gaps in crown molding caulked, patched at seams and sprayed. Cracks and holes in mostly all walls, filthy spindles, posts and doors all brought back to life! The 2nd, was some major surgery performed on a family members front porch after serious water damage to the ceiling. Like it never happened! Owner operator who never has more than 1 jib going at a time. Who's first on the job, last in the truck, and drives his guys nuts cause he dosent leave the job till his OCD painting self says every square inch is clean and done to his liking! The 🐐 in this paint game!

Been a while since Kelly & son's painting has shown some work going on. Be honest9 February is always a tough month in this game. But the last 3 weeks or so things are coming back to normal. Caught a nice couple days a few weeks ago and did some exterior work on some old wood siding to bring it back to life. The 2nd seen, is the complete white out of the 1st floor of a previous job done in North Wildwood. We also brought ugly old green cabinets back to life, along with sprucing up the exterior in time for the summer season coming up!

Took care of a few areas of someone's home who I have close ties with. The homeowner has known the kid here since right around when he started walking. Her mother in-law, who was my neck store neighbor in Overbrook was a special person I'll never forget. She took special care of me when I was young. So in typical Kelly & son's painting fashion, we made sure we took good care of her. It was great to talk about the good old days growing up in the best section in all of Philly too!

3 weeks ago Kelly & son's painting finished up a newly purchased shore home down in Ventnor NJ. Went back today after the new floors and carpet were Installed to do final touchups, and take these absolute beautiful after pics now that the floors are done! Or as I call it, the new shoes! Cause you can strap on a new suit, with a tight new fade, but if your rocking a pair of dirty old kicks you don't look the part! You need the shiny shoes to look complete. That's what new floors and carpet do for a beautiful new paint job in a home. The Shoes! Once again strait 🔥🔥🔥 by Kelly & Son's Painting.

After finishing up in Ventnor NJ 2 weeks ago (pics coming after floors installed), the past couple weeks some small jobs were squeezed in before the post holiday pre-spring blitz that begins tomorrow. This here is a remodeled basement office. Small but tedious and turned out unreal! Lots of work done for a few members of this family here in PA and down the shore. I was given free range for my idea on what to do with the shelves and it's surrounding trim. I wanted it to say hello look at me to whoever walks in there! BOOM 🔥🔥. Earlier this month Kelly & son's painting finished a job for a customer in Newtown Square. After completed, the customer asked what the odds were we could do their cabinets before the Christmas weekend. As much as I'm not a fan of spraying cabinet doors in this weather, I set up the spray tent, plugged in the portable heaters in the shop, and with some help, jockeyed the doors from tent to heated areas. Came out fantastic and customer loves the new look. Next up me and the fellas head to Ventnor NJ to tackle a newly settled shore home. Kelly & Son's Painting. 💪💪🇺🇲🐐

Kelly & son's painting completed this job weeks ago. A town house in Paoli that I waited to go back to after all boxes were unpacked and could get good after pics. This was another repeat customer I did work for back in my rookie season. Customer asked what I thought about custom shadow boxes that ran from the foyer, up the stairs and into the hall. A basement job done a while back by . Customer wanted to spruce the place up in time for their annual Army/Navy game gathering. Kelly & son's painting took care of it for them! Job just completed this week by for a customer who I did work for back in my rookie season! Not a stark difference in color, but still a refresh in areas of the home that needed it. This coming week we will be doing this same customers kitchen cabinets. So stay tuned!

While waiting to put the finishing touches on our job in Paoli after the floor guys are done, the Kelly & son's painting crew knocked out a newly settled condo in Glen Mills for a family members mother. Textured walls with high gloss one em. 🤣🤣🤯🤯. It was blinding in there. You'll always see the texture, but flat paint hides a multitude of sins on walls as we say in this game. Now its dulled to a minimum! The holidays are coming around. How are you gonna host parties with those ugly walls in your common areas!? Go look at em. Afterwards call Kelly & Son's Painting!

This past Monday me and the fellas at Kelly & son's painting put the finishing touches on a town home in Wallingford. The main living area didn't have the best lighting so you couldn't really see the difference in color change. So I just took finished ones. And when you have a guy on your team who is the best in the paint game at cleaning, and putting a home back together to make it look like we were never there while the Ts are being crossed and the i's dotted thats huge! AKA the chief cause no one polices a home like him. Now we're currently up in Paoli in the middle of another town home to be seen soon! Kelly & Son's Painting folks!

After a couple weeks in North Wildwood, me and the fellas got to sleep later and start some local jobs last week. Prep work at a town home in Paoli, and right next door to the Kelly estate to make another home on my block great again! Sorry ass yellow siding now glowing with a beautiful shade of light gray. Bout 6 months ago, Kelly & Son's Painting did a job for a couple who bought and remodeled a home for themselves in North Wildwood. Working for the owner, but I considered it an audition for the builder. The builder recommended us to another owner a few blocks away after he did a bunch of work at his home. New trim, doors, floors and stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floors. A full white out on all walls, and old stained or painted woodwork to glossy white or black. The owners biggest concern were the stairs to the 2nd & 3rd floor and the 1st floor newel post. He wanted an almost perfect match stain to the newly laid floors and to do something to make the newel post pop out at you. Been about a month since the last post but it's been a busy month. A couple little things done for some close friends, and a week set aside to help my mentor out on a couple jobs. In between those days we started a home for a couple who are like family to me. They just got married and bought a new home so we spruced it up for em. Just finished Tuesday. Yesterday and today we wrapped up a foyer in Ft. Washington for an old customer. Next up, a McMansion down in Wildwood! Kelly & Son's Painting!
