Very excited to announce that Flourishing Roots Wellness has moved into our very own office suite in Clive. More space means the SoundBed will have its own dedicated “cave room” once it arrives! I’ve been working in-between appointments the past few days to transform the space into a new home and it’s starting to come together. If you Google me and see my old address it’s because Google My Business is not cooperating with my verification video but that will be worked out soon enough. Looking forward to welcoming you all into the new space!

When we don't know who we are or what we stand for, it's easier for outside influences to decide how our lives will be lived. In order to write your story with confidence there are a few things you can do:
Reflect on what happiness means to you and how to cultivate it. Examples: working for yourself, volunteering, community outreach, quality time with family and friends, new experiences, traveling, baking, etc.
Identify your core values—such as relationships, health, creativity, or adventure—and use them as a compass when making choices.
When you make choices that are in alignment with what you stand for, you can feel confident that you are writing your authentic story.
Light stretching is simple and effective way to multitask while enjoying your favorite shows. Keep these benefits in mind as you cue up the next episode of your favorite show.
Relaxation and Stress Relief: Engaging in stretching can promote relaxation and reduce anxiety, making it easier to unwind while enjoying your show.
Posture Correction: Stretching can counteract poor posture habits that develop from sitting for extended periods, helping to align the spine and reduce discomfort.

Happiness and fulfillment do not have to be conditional. If, when you repeat the affirmation, “ I am deserving of happiness and fulfillment” but do not feel it to be true, you can try exploring the underlying dissonance. Here are some strategies to help you delve into those feelings:
• Self-Reflection: Take time to journal your thoughts and feelings. Write about your beliefs regarding happiness and fulfillment. What events or experiences may have shaped these beliefs?
• Identify Limiting Beliefs: Often, negative self-perceptions stem from limiting beliefs. Consider what specific beliefs you hold about yourself or your worthiness that may be holding you back.
• Seek Professional Support: A therapist or counselor can provide a safe space to explore these feelings and offer guidance in reframing your thoughts.
• Practice Self-Compassion: Treat yourself with kindness. Recognize that everyone has their struggles, and it's okay to feel the way you do. Affirm your inherent worthiness regardless of circumstances.
• Challenge Negative Thoughts: When feelings of unworthiness arise, consciously challenge those thoughts. Replace them with positive affirmations or evidence of your accomplishments and worthiness.
• Visualize Your Deservingness: Engage in visualization exercises where you imagine yourself as deserving of happiness and fulfillment. Picture what that looks and feels like in your life.
• Engage in Activities that Bring Joy: Pursue hobbies, passions, or activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Experiencing happiness can help reinforce the belief that you deserve it.
By taking these steps, you can work towards internalizing the belief that you are deserving of happiness and fulfillment, making your affirmations more resonant and meaningful.

For all the people who know they need to drink more water, but don't, this one is for you! Place a glass of water on your nightstand before bed so it's available to drink first thing in the morning. Drinking a glass of water in the morning can benefit the body in several ways:
• Enhances Skin Health: Staying hydrated can contribute to healthier, more radiant skin, as water plays a key role in maintaining skin elasticity and hydration.
• Increases Energy Levels: Dehydration can lead to fatigue and lower energy levels. Drinking water in the morning can help you feel more energized and alert.
• Supports Brain Function: Proper hydration is essential for cognitive functions. Starting your day with water can help improve focus and concentration.
I've noticed in my Intuitive Wellness Sessions that people who are well hydrated are able to flow energy more efficiently through their body. Incorporating a glass of water into your morning routine can be a simple yet effective way to support overall health and wellness.
Feel it in your body as you say this out load: I accept myself completely and unconditionally. Now repeat this affirmation to yourself as many times as you need to and watch as the pressure you put on yourself begins to minimize. If you find yourself getting frustrated with yourself throughout the day, remember this affirmation.
📣 Putting myself on blast with this post. 📣 Lately, I've found myself doom scrolling into the late hours of the night. While the laughs from some reels are good for the soul, it's not helping me sleep better or allowing my imagination to activate like reading a fiction book would. So, starting tonight I'm gonna read a few pages instead of being on my phone. Maybe I'll actually finish one of the many books I've started, lol. 📚

This incremental approach can help build momentum, leading to more significant changes over time as we create a habit of taking care of ourselves.

Watching Live From The Other Side with on my lunch break and had to put this in my notes. 📝 Can the Universe/Creator/God/Spirit send us symbols and messages through coincidences? Skeptics brush coincidences off as flukes, believers allow the meaning to be revealed to them over time in a way that resonates with their inner truth, and fanatics can go overboard on assigning meaning. Being in a state of spiritual balance can help us see our guideposts with more clarity, which in turn creates a greater sense of connection to the world around us.
