Pets at Peace
In this week's highlight, we'd like to talk about McLane's Pets at Peace Cremation Service. Recognizing the expanding needs of area families, we opened Pets at Peace in 2014, and our manager, Tammy McCoy, began assisting pet families since 2017. The options available to pet parents include a basic pet cremation package, memorial packages, or group cremation package. Additionally, you can either drop your pet off with us or arrange a home pick-up by calling us or requesting Pets at Peace with your veterinarian. If you’d like to learn more about our pet loss services, give us a call at 229.244.0007 or visit www.mclanefuneralservices.com.

Why Do We Avoid Planning Ahead?
It’s never too early to plan for funeral wishes, but so many of us don’t. Why is that? This short video shares three of the most common objections to planning ahead and why they shouldn’t stop you from taking this important step toward protecting your family in the future.

McLane Crematory
For McLane’s series this week, we’re discussing our on-site crematory – McLane Crematory! When you put your loved one in a funeral home’s care, you have a right to know what happens at each step of the process. That’s why we opened McLane Crematory in 1999 at our Valdosta location. By cremating at our funeral home, your loved one will never leave our care, and we can offer you a Cremation with Confidence Guarantee. To learn more about the value of our crematory, call us at 229.242.5544 or visit www.mclanefuneralservices.com.

Easter
May we never forget the love and sacrifice that Jesus displayed on the cross and the wonder and majesty of his resurrection. Happy Easter!

Medicaid Spend Down
According to a recent report, 62.3% of long-term care is covered through Medicaid. But Medicaid only kicks in once a family's life savings are depleted by nursing home care. That is why it is so important to preserve and protect assets before it’s too late. For information on how to preserve assets with a specially structured prepaid funeral plan, call or come by today!

Happy New Year!
Have a wonderful new year! We wish you a happy, healthy, and fun 2024!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! It's a day to stuff ourselves with delicious food and express how grateful we are for the past year. What's your favorite memory since last Thanksgiving?

Veteran's Day
Woodrow Wilson, honoring the veterans of World War I on the very first Veterans Day, said, “To us in America, the reflections…will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory.” To our nation’s veterans, we honor your sacrifice and are inspired by your courage.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We were honored to be entrusted with the care of your mother. We value the opportunity to serve our community with the care and compassion that McLane’s is known for.

Would you rather
Did you know there’s a difference between a funeral service and a memorial service? It’s true! A funeral happens before burial or cremation with the body present. A memorial service happens after a burial or cremation without the body, although an urn or a portrait may be included in a place of honor. Which would you rather have: a funeral or a memorial service? Vote on the poll below!
