In 1920, our 5 Pearls envisioned a sorority which would directly affect positive change, chart a course of action for the 1920s and beyond, raise consciousness of their people, encourage the highest standards of scholastic achievement, and foster a greater sense of unity among its members.

Today Soror Garrett to represented our chapter to present our donation to Sonoma State University’s Lobo’s Pantry. Lobo’s Pantry is a project sponsored by SSU’s Associated Students that collects food and personal care items to provide for students that may need some additional support. We are honored to partner with Associated Students to help provide for the students at SSU!

Today is International Women's Day!! Each year this day celebrates the many achievements of women throughout the world. Marked annually on March 8th, International Women's Day (IWD) is one of the most important days of the year to celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness about women's equality, lobby for accelerated gender parity, and fundraise for female-focused charities.




BLACK HISTORY MONTH: The black family has been a topic of study in many disciplines—history, literature, the visual arts and film studies, sociology, anthropology, and social policy. Its representation, identity, and diversity have been reverenced, stereotyped, and vilified from the days of slavery to our own time.

The black family knows no single location, since family reunions and genetic-ancestry searches testify to the spread of family members across states, nations, and continents. Not only are individual black families diasporic, but Africa and the diaspora itself have been long portrayed as the black family at large.

The black family offers a rich tapestry of images for exploring the African American past and present. We celebrate the black family!

Our 5 Pearls saw a need and founded Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated on January 16, 1920. Zeta is an organization - a movement, a belief system that reflects, at its core, the desire to embrace Scholarship, provide true Service, to set a standard for Sisterhood and to define the noble concept of Womanhood.

January is Human S*x Trafficking (Prevention) Awareness Month!

January 11 is

Blue is the international color of Human Trafficking Awareness.

Before the pandemic the Pacific Region Social Action Initiative was to collect a minimum of 1,000 pairs of shoes to be donated to a particular organization. The Initiative is Shoes for the Soul. We will extend this initiative into the 2021-2022 Sorority year.

In places that are stricken with trauma and crisis, many women, girls, and boys are stolen and sold or forced into S*x Trafficking and Human Slavery.

Let's Flood Social Media to bring Awareness to such a devastating cause that has destroyed the hopes and dreams of many; by raising awareness and strengthening our communities through education.
