Help fuel Cougar spirit by volunteering at the Cougar Grill for varsity football games this fall. 50% of profits from the Cougar Grill will be divided among the programs whose parents staff the grill based on hours worked. Signing up is easy! Just click the link below and click the box(es) next to the date and time you are able to volunteer. Then add the applicable IHSA sport in the comments section along with your name and email address.

The number of volunteers needed for each time slot is indicated by a ( #). Additional volunteers will be put on an alternate list and contacted if someone cancels.

Dylan Einhorn was the 2023-24 recipient of the Adam Jablonski Scholarship at our Honors Assembly prior to graduation. We are grateful for the support & generosity from Adam’s mother, Alina. Our memories of Adam and the spirit of how he lived life continues to inspire all of us.

Congrats to Ben Miller, very deservedly named to the IVCA All-State 2nd Team. What a year he put together!

BFF, seniors, love and going to miss them. Season ended with tears but with a fight against Grayslake Central. Felt like a sectional matchup vs regional. They played through obstacles with heart. Always putting the team first. They paved the way for the next class.

A few words we need to share about this year’s team…

Cougars lose 1-0 in an awesome sectional run. This Cougar squad was a privilege and joy to coach… so proud of what they accomplished!

Because of weather, the Sectional Final at Deerfield will be postponed until 11 am on Saturday. See you all there after one more day of rest.

5/23 Best, tightest senior class ever? Maybe. Ended too soon in a tough Regional loss to Barrington that most years is a Sectional final matchup. We’ll miss these guys almost as much as they’ll miss playing together. 29-9, CSLN champs, and you’re lying if you say you saw this coming.

Congrats to Sr. Josh Cahill, named to the CSL All-Conference team! Josh has 218 kills this season, the third most of any VH player in the past 4 seasons. All while playing all 3 hitter positions. He’s versatile, powerful, and humble. Heading to Ohio State in the fall.

Congratulations to Sr. Sarthak Agrawal, selected the CSL Sportsmanship recipient for VHHS. He’s heading to Duke in the fall. They are not ready for Sarthak…

Congrats to Sr. Ben Miller, named to the CSL All-Conference team! Ben set the VHVB single season record for kills last night. He now has 367 (and counting) this year. Also leads the team in aces (30) and is 2nd in digs (201). Headed to Purdue next year.

Congrats to Sr. Max Adkisson, named to the CSL All-Conference team! Max has 326 digs this season (9th all time single season) and is top 10 in career digs. He is a team captain and a terrific leader. He heads to Catawba College next year to play for Coach Ferguson’s squad.
