There is a Christian fiction flash sale going on at the library. These are library deletes, so they are all in good shape. Please spread the word and help us sell some books!

Hello Friends of the Vienna Public Library!

We need your help. The library is hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Wednesday, August 14th from 10am to 4pm. The library is requesting our help at this event. The Red Cross has asked for 6 volunteers, 3 from 10am to 1pm and 3 from 1pm to 4pm. Volunteers will help with registration of donors, passing out juice/cookies, and walking with people from the donation bed to their chairs.

Please let me know if I can add you to the schedule!

Hi everyone! Thanks to some generous donations, we're having a puzzle sale at the library this week. They are priced as marked from $3 - $5 each. Check it out soon as I expect them to go fast!

I would like to go through the donations on Saturday at noon. If you're available to help, I would love to see you!

Hi friends! The library needs a few volunteers to serve ice cream at the summer reading kick off party Thursday, June 6th from 4pm to 8pm

Hi friends! Just a reminder, this Saturday, the 11th, is the second Saturday so we will be sorting books at 10am. 📚📚📚

Also, there are 3 planters at the library that could use some flowers. We would need probably 5-6 nice size bags of potting soil, maybe a bag of mulch to top them off, and flowers to plant. I was thinking of asking local people or businesses if they would like to sponsor a planter. Thoughts? Would anyone like to help gather the stuff and fill the planters? 🎍🎍🎍

A huge THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who came out to help with our book sale! This was the fastest clean up in history! I SO appreciate you all and look forward to new things to come.

Books will be priced between $0.25 - $1.00

Good evening friends! Please join me at the library tomorrow at 10am to set up the book sale. There is some heavy lifting and some not-so-heavy lifting to be done. The books need organized and there are odds and ends that need to come together to prepare for our sale. All help is welcomed and appreciated!

Hi everyone! Just a reminder, we ARE sorting books tomorrow as part of our reinstated schedule of sorting every second Saturday. There are a lot of books to get through, so your help is greatly appreciated!

There is a flash sale of Westerns going on at the library this week to coincide with the country and western music performance the library is hosting Thursday. Please stop in and do some shopping! 50¢ each or 5/$2.

We're going to try to go back to having set days for sorting books so everyone can plan ahead. Our next sort will be Saturday, March 9th, at 10am. Moving forward, we will sort on the second Saturday of each month. If we must reschedule for some reason it will be posted here.
