The 2022 Blood, Sweat, and Gears 25 & 50 Miler had beautiful weather and a great group of cyclists!

It was TRULY a ride full of Blood, Sweat, and Gears! Team The Green Mile Cycling Club - Chicago represented and were truly an asset to this event.

Participate on Saturday, September 17th, for either 25 or 50 miles!

Participate on Sunday, September 18th, for either 75 or 100 miles!

Take the challenge** and register for any distance of choice for a total of either 100, 125, or 150 miles in TWO DAYS!

As we close out the cycling season, join us on our first Night Ride.

All Paces are welcome! We will meet at Pier 31 on the Chicago lakefront & ride north to Montrose Ave and back.

The total ride is 20 miles, however if you’re feeling adventurous, continue north to the trail end to add an additional 4 miles!

All cyclists must:
• Wear a helmet
• Sign the event waiver
• Have lights suitable for night riding on their bikes

Blood, Sweat, & Gears is seeking energetic volunteers to assist with Packet Pick-Up and Race Day events for the Ride Of The Century.

We rely on the dedication of volunteers to make every Blood, Sweat, & Gears event a huge success, so please consider joining the fun!

PLEASE NOTE:
All volunteers are required to register through the official registration process on Race Roster. The sign up page shows all available volunteer opportunities. Please make sure you are available for the duration of the event before registering for your desired position. Individual volunteers will assist with nearly every aspect of the event, including:

★ Set-up & Breakdown
★ Assigning bibs and distributing goodie bags at Packet Pick-Up.
★ Aid Stations
★ Course Marshals
★ Directing & cheering on the course to keep all participants safe and motivated.

Volunteers must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
