Don’t stress yourself out trying to make another person happy. You are setting yourself up to fail. Why? Keep reading…⬇️ For most people, happiness is usually based on something good occurring in favor of them. That means happiness is associated with luck and good fortune. Example, I buy my wife a new bag 👜 and now she is happy. Fellas, what if you can’t afford to buy a 👜?? 🫣 Reality is that happiness is something WE decide. It’s a mindset that WE can all choose to embrace or NOT. 🤔 Second, we need to release this happiness mindset and adopt the biblical concept of receiving Joy in our 🖤’s. According to the Bible, joy is found when we know Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior and when we learn about the many promises God has for us when we seek His Kingdom. ✝️ Example, even when your husband can’t buy you a new 👜 you’re grateful because you have a Man who loves you and is doing his best to provide for his family. In the hardest times of my life, I remember experiencing joy because I knew Jesus was with me and I knew who He was. Me and my wife will be celebrating 20 years of marriage very soon and our success is because of God helping us to love another as he intended not the worldly standards we see on social media. We learned to compromise with one another, we learned to sacarifice our own desires for the well-being of our new unit, and we learned to be SUBMISSIVE to one another. 😳 The real 🔑 to success in life can only be found in the Word of God.
