Our vegan-friendly/gluten-free item, Thai Quinoa Salad, was our number 2 selling item last night and the first to sell out!

It’s under-rated. Crispy French fries topped with garlic herb cheese curds (courtesy of of course) and our own chicken valoute (aka gravy).

The Roast Beast Dip

It’s a steak sandwich served with Au Jus! We use house-made garlic aioli for a little kick & like to give it a nice toast for some crunchy goodness. 🤤

Of course we made our own Jus too.

Mark your calendar for the Walla Walla Pride Festival June 1 at Eternal Wines!

From 5 to 8 pm, this is an all-ages inclusive event featuring music, local vendors and booths, face-painting, a youth dance party, food, wine, beer, hard seltzers, zero-proof drink options, as well as other activities and raffles benefiting Triple Point, a local resource for q***r youth. At 8:30 pm, many vendors will shut down as the event transitions to 21+.

If you know us, you know how much we LOVE to travel. And our favorite part of traveling is experiencing food from other places.

Last year we took an amazing family trip to Argentina. Of course we did a lot of wine tasting and we ate as much meat as we could stand! We also went to an asado (Argentine BBQ) and it included a cooking course. There are a few items we are excited to share with you from our trip. Here is the first:

Choripan - Malbec infused Argentine-Style sausages with housemade Chimicurri & salsa criolla

The Choripan is tailgating food in Argentina, like America’s hotdog (we had one outside the stadium in La Boca), but we took ours up a notch. It’s pretty hefty & has amazing flavors you don’t experience everyday in Walla Walla! We’ll pile on the condiments and send you with extra napkins. 🤤

Once upon a time, we ran this very building. Isn’t it beautiful! 🤩

We were still in college and made the trip to help our chef friend get it going. But when she had some unexpected life changes happen and with no time to spare, we convinced the winery owners that we could handle it.

So we hopped on a couple of ferries, spent all of our money on food, phoned a friend for help, & busted our butts all summer long. We had an absolute blast serving not only lunch, but also intimate 5 course wine pairing dinners including pickup at the private dock and this gorgeous view of the vineyards overlooking the bay.

This building holds a very special place in our hearts and memories and it’s a huge part of Wild Thyme’s story & inspiration.

If you’re ever in the Gulf Islands and want to eat or taste some wine, check it out! It’s a beautiful little island with a small but wonderful community. It’s also an incredible place to see Orca whales from the shore! And if you go, please report back. It’s been over a decade since we were there and we’d love to hear about your visit! 🥂
