Fun was had by all on the last two days of wonderful and inspiring Plein Air workshop with Carolyn Lord. We arrived early to the botanical garden and were treated with sunshine. Students painted in the morning and if they choose were able to watch another exceptional demo on painting rocks. Workshop lead and CWA Board Member Joseph Tringali share these wise words, "As a newbie to plein air painting the most valuable lesson that I learned was that simplicity was the key to success when painting outdoors. Simplify your equipment, simplify your palette, simplify your subject and enjoy being outdoors."
