it’s been a long time, but since losing my precious Annabelle, I still can’t face going back to the clothes making.
But I will be starting to make jewelry, sterling silver, stainless steel, real gems glass and leather. I will also be making unusual leather bags, possibly belts.

This is unbearable! 💔
What do severely low platelets look like?
This.
She ate a bag of chips for dinner and we’re assuming one cut her gum and the bleeding wouldn’t get under control. We brought her to the emergency room, platelets are 11, so she’s getting a platelet transfusion.
She is needing platelet transfusions every other day, and red blood once or twice a week. We can expect the need to increase as time goes on.
It’s a painful journey we’re on. Physically for her, emotionally for us.

Just a quick update on Annabelle-
She’s doing well. Most of the nausea is gone except for when she takes Levaquin but that’s easily fixed with IV zofran. She still doesn’t eat much but she’s able to drink enough to keep her off fluids for the time being.
Her mouth sores are almost healed as well. They do still bother her a little but we’re staying on top of it.
She’s still sitting at 0 with her counts. Her biopsy to check for remission is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday but only if her counts come up. (We need her in remission to be able to get her transplant.)
There’s talk of possibly giving us a couple of days at home after her biopsy, before we begin the next round of chemo if her counts are good enough. I’m not holding my breath, though! Today is our 24th day in here and I already feel the walls closing in around us 😵💫.
