April is child abuse prevention month. At yesterday's Houston County Child Abuse Proclamation signing, our community committed to keeping every child safe.

Reunification is the most common and most desired permanency goal for children in foster care. Keeping families together is better for the children, whenever safely possible. It is the first and best option. But reunification takes hard work, commitment, and the investment of time and resources. Alongside foster parents, courts, and child welfare professionals, CASA volunteers support families of origin in their efforts to grow and thrive together. #reunification #CASA #volunteer #childwelfare #hope #changeachildsstory
