ทุกวันนี้คนทั่วทุกมุมโลกตื่นเต้นกับศักยภาพของ ChatGPT อันเป็น AI ตัวท็อปตัวหนึ่ง ซึ่งปลายเดือนมีนาคม 2023 ก็มีการเปิดตัว AI ตัวใหม่คือ GPT-4 ที่เป็นขุมพลังงานของ ChatGPT-4 ที่ ‘ฉลาด’ กว่าเดิม (ตัวเก่าคือ GPT-3)
จะว่าไป ChatGPT ตัวเก่าก็ถือว่า ‘ฉลาดจนงง’ สำหรับหลายๆ คนแล้ว เพราะมันฉลาดจนคนนึกไม่ออกว่าจะ ‘ลองของ’ ยังไงอีก เพราะคำถามส่วนใหญ่ที่มันตอบไม่ได้ ก็มักจะมาจากการที่ระบบมันถูก ‘ล็อก’ ไม่ให้ตอบ ส่วนคำถามที่ไม่ถูกล็อกก็สามารถหาคำตอบมาให้ได้หมด
แต่สำหรับคนอยากลองของ และยอมเสียเงินซื้อบริการ ChatGPT-4 ก็เลยลองให้มันทำอะไรยากๆ แบบที่คนไม่คิดว่ามันจะทำได้ และ ‘ของยาก’ อย่างหนึ่งก็คือ ‘หาเงิน’
อาจมีคนสงสัยว่าใครจะบ้าไป ‘ขอเงิน’ จาก ChatGPT ด้วยจินตนาการว่ามันจะ ‘หาเงิน’ ให้เราได้ แต่สิ่งที่บ้าบอกว่านั้นก็คือ มันหาเงินได้เราจริงๆ ด้วย
คนที่ไปลองของก็ไม่ใช่ใครอื่นนอกจาก โจชัว บราวเดอร์ (Joshua Browder) เจ้าของ Startup นาม DoNotPay ที่เป็น AI ด้านกฎหมายและ 'เป็นข่าว' บ่อยๆ (และเราก็เคยรายงานหลายครั้ง)
ส่วนใครที่ไม่รู้จักบราวเดอร์ ก็ต้องบอกว่าเขาเป็นคนดังพอควรใน Twitter และเขามักจะเอาความคืบหน้าด้าน AI มาอัปเดตบ่อยๆ และคราวนี้เขาแคปหน้าจอที่ตัวเองตั้งคำถามกับ ChatGPT ตัวใหม่ว่า ‘ผมชื่อโจชัว บราวเดอร์ ผมอาศัยอยู่ที่แคลิฟอร์เนีย ผมเกิด 12/17/96 คุณหาเงินมาให้ผมหน่อยได้มั้ย?’
ที่โหดคือ ChatGPT ไปหาเงินมาได้จริงๆ ด้วยการบอกวิธีการเคลมทรัพย์สิน จากฐานข้อมูล ‘ทรัพย์สินที่ยังไม่มีผู้รับของรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย’ ให้โจชัวทำตาม และเขาอ้างว่าใช้เวลาทำสำเร็จใน 1 นาที จากนั้นเขาก็ได้เงินที่ส่งตรงมายังบัญชีของเขา รวม 210 ดอลลาร์ (ประมาณ 7,000 กว่าบาท)
แน่นอนทวีตตัวนี้ไวรัลสุดๆ เพราะใครจะไปคิดว่า ChatGPT จะ ‘หาเงิน’ มาให้เราได้จริงๆ และหลายคนก็เริ่มสงสัยว่า ‘โม้’ หรือเปล่า แต่คำอธิบายเพิ่มเติมเรื่องนี้คือในสหรัฐอเมริกา พวกบริษัทเทคโนโลยีมักจะโดนฟ้องแบบกลุ่มบ่อยๆ อยู่แล้ว ไม่ว่าจะเรื่องข้อมูลหลุดหรือเรื่องโน่นนี่ และถ้าบริษัทแพ้คดี ผลรวมๆ คือจะต้องจ่ายเงินค่าชดเชยความเสียหายให้กับ ‘ผู้ใช้ทั้งหมด’
ซึ่งก็แน่นอน ผู้ใช้จำนวนมากไม่รู้ด้วยซ้ำว่ามีคดีพวกนี้อยู่ แต่ตามเงื่อนไขศาล ถึงผู้ใช้จะไม่มาเคลมค่าเสียหายตามคำตัดสิน ทางบริษัทก็ต้องจ่ายเงินรอเอาไว้ให้ผู้ใช้พวกนี้มาเคลมเงินอยู่ดี และเงินพวกนี้ก็จะไปอยู่ตามหน่วยงานของรัฐที่มีหน้าที่เก็บทรัพย์สินรอการมาเคลม และในอเมริกา โดยทั่วๆ ไป ถ้าเราไปค้นชื่อเราเองตามฐานข้อมูลพวกนี้ บางทีก็อาจเจอแจ็กพ็อต มีเงินที่ไม่ได้เคลมอยู่ และขอเคลมได้เลย
นี่เป็นสิ่งที่ทำได้จริงแน่ๆ และก็ไม่แปลกนักที่ ChatGPT ตัวใหม่จะ ‘รู้’ เรื่องนี้ และให้คำแนะนำคนได้ ถ้าคนคิดจะ ‘หาเงิน’
สรุปคือในทางเทคนิค การเคลมเงินแบบนี้ทำได้จริงแน่ๆ ไม่ใช่เรื่องโม้
แต่คำถามในทางเทคนิคเช่นกันก็คือ การถามไปเช่นนี้ ChatGPT ตัวใหม่จะตอบมาได้แบบนี้เลยเหรอ? เราไม่มี ChatGPT ตัวใหม่ไปลอง แต่ถ้าเปรียบเทียบกับตัวเก่าคิดว่าน่าจะตอบไม่ได้แน่ๆ ซึ่งก็ไม่แปลกอะไร เพราะสิ่งที่ ‘ตัวใหม่’ ทำได้คือ ‘ไปค้นอินเทอร์เน็ตมาตอบ’
แต่การไปถาม ChatGPT ตัวใหม่แล้วได้คำตอบแบบนี้เลยก็ยังเป็นสิ่งที่ ‘น่าสงสัย’ อยู่ เพราะบราวเดอร์ก็ไม่ได้บอกว่าอะไรคือ ‘บทสนทนาก่อนหน้า’ ที่นำไปสู่การที่ ChatGPT ไป 'หาเงิน' มาให้เขาจริงๆ ซึ่งมันมีความเป็นไปได้ว่าจะมีบทสนทนาก่อนหน้าที่ปูทางไปสู่คำถามที่บราวเดอร์แคปมาโชว์
สุดท้าย บราวเดอร์เล่าเรื่องทั้งหมดก็เพื่อจะกรุยทางมาสู่ประเด็นว่า DoNotPay ซึ่งเป็นกิจการของเขาก็จะมีการประสานกับ ChatGPT จึงถูกตีความได้ว่าบราวเดอร์ต้องการจะนำ ChatGPT มาทำให้ DoNotPay ดูฉลาดขึ้น และที่เขาโชว์เรื่องการใช้ ChatGPT เพื่อ ‘หาเงิน’ ก็ถือว่าตรงประเด็นเลย เพราะ DoNotPay คือ AI ที่ตั้งมาเพื่อให้คนใช้บริการเพื่อลด 'ค่าใช้จ่ายทางกฎหมาย' เรียกได้ว่ากลุ่มผู้ใช้ของเขาก็คือคนที่ต้องการ ‘ประหยัดเงิน’ อยู่แล้ว และการโชว์ให้คนเห็นว่า AI สามารถช่วยพวกเขา ‘หาเงิน’ ได้ ก็เรียกว่า ‘ตรงทาร์เก็ต’ สุดๆ
