When you're there take a few minutes to just sit in stillness, noting all that you experience with your senses: the swoosh as a bird flies by, the sound of people talking, the feel of the earth, or the tiny vines in a leaf. Take a deep breath in and allow your body and mind to rest.
Today should have been Breonna Taylor’s 29th birthday. We remember her life and recommit to lifting up the work, experiences, and needs of Black women. When we work to center the needs of Black women, girls, and mothers, we raise the bar and expand the protection for all people. Whether it’s stopping the racialized policing of Black women, or promoting Black women’s maternal health, everyone benefits when Black women are thriving.
