In the six months he’s been living at the Maren, he’s earned a reputation as a bit of a flirt, always making an effort to greet his neighbors. He loves getting pets, munching on the treats from the front desk, and playing with his buddies at the dog park!

Hi! My name is Mylo and I am a 5-year-old cow kitty…I have the spots to prove it. I love my new DC city life, having grown up in the sleepy Virginia suburbs where my mom would take me on walks outside. But now I love to watch the birds fly around and land on my balcony from inside. Don’t worry, I scare them away with my fierce meow. You can also find me taking long naps, getting lots of treats, and zooming around causing chaos.

Meet our Pet of the Month- Brady Blackburn, a 6-year-old black Labradoodle, proudly representing the namesake of Tom Brady, though the recent struggles of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox have brought a few gray hairs. He made the move to Maren from Tampa, Florida, about 8 months ago, experiencing snow for the first time this winter, sparking curiosity and joy. Brady enjoys spending time at Dacha, relishing his time on the couches and savoring his pup cup. His amiable nature extends to all dogs honed from his previous work with service animals where he learned to interact with other doggos!🐶🌟

Parker is a 7 y.o. Chesapeake Bay Retriever and proud resident of Maren. Having gone to “Pups in the Park” since he was a little baby, Parker is especially jazzed to live so close to Nats stadium. Being a Chessie, swimming and all things water-related are among his favorite activities, but he also likes meeting his new Maren neighbors - canine and human - in the elevator and from time to time and “singing” with his emerging voice. If you see him around, you’ll likely either be serenaded, get a tail wag, or both!
