Beyond the music Bedrock boss, John Digweed includes in his sets, what makes a Bedrock event unique?
First things first, John brings an unmatched attention to detail to each and every Bedrock party. Going back to the early 90s, John would transform ordinary club spaces into extraordinary experiences by adding additional decorations to give the night an identity. Today, that attention to detail reveals itself in new ways, like Johnโs habit of relocating the DJ booth from center stage to the corner, shifting the focus from the DJ booth to the music being playedโฆ a refreshing alteration in a time where visuals have superseded the music.
But perhaps the single most unique aspect of a Bedrock event is that the dancefloor feels like family. While this may seem cliche, itโs true, and itโs not by accident. Even during his ascension to fame in the 90s, John would organize busses from various UK cities, bringing the most dedicated clubbers to each of his events. More than 30 years later, these same clubbers turn up for each and every Bedrock event.
So itโs no surprise clubbers have deemed the upcoming @John Digweed All Night Long party in Denver on May 25th as a can't -miss event.
