Each of our #UNCFStudentLeaders will bring a unique perspective and skillset to their intern programs this summer and we’re dedicated to making sure they have all the resources they need to succeed. On Day 2 of #UNCFSLC, our students joined sessions on mental health and stress management and participated in workshops to help them recognize and utilize their existing superpowers to present powerful, authentic messages.  To end the day, executives from The Walt Disney Company, Statesmen College Preparatory Academy for Boys PCS, and our host sponsor @wellsfargo, provided our students with tips to unlocking the Executive Suite. Thank you to our host partner @wellsfargo and all our sponsors who are committed to supporting our students. #UNCFStudentLeaders, we’re proud of you, shout out your school or internship programs in the comments! #UNCF #UNCFSLC #NetworktoNerworth

For Sharnetta Boone-Ruffin, being a mother goes hand-in-hand with being a teacher, a parent advocate, and a student advocate. See how the movie Hidden Figures inspired her daughter to not just aim for the stars - but for the galaxy. 💫⬇️ UNCF.org/parentvoices #UNCFParentVoices #MothersDay #UNCFk12

UNCF launches its Philanthropy Institute. Powered by the UNCF Teaching + Learning Center, the Philanthropy Institute reimagines the practice of fundraising, leveraging culturally informed expertise and a commitment to racial justice and social equity. UNCF’s Philanthropy Institute is the first of its kind and designed by and for fundraising professionals at Black and other underserved organizations. While there are several prominent organizations who offer training for fundraising professionals, UNCF’s Philanthropy Institute (UNCFPI) addresses the unique needs of fundraisers working with the sometimes-overlooked communities where Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) live. UNCFPI intends to train the next generation of fundraising leaders. The organization will serve fundraising professionals at educational institutions, fundraising, and non-profit organizations to help them achieve their professional goals and objectives. Learn more about UNCFPI and the course offerings that will begin in Jan. 2024 by visiting ➡️ UNCF.org/PhilanthropyInstitute #UNCFPhilanthropy #PhilanthropyEducation #SupportHBCUs #BIPOCNonprofits
