A night at Red Barn Players on Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

The play "The Bold, The Young and The Murdered". This play is about a long-running soap opera in its last days. Its hunky hero has self-esteem issues, its villainous old man is more interested in soup, and its heroines are slightly psychopathic. The executive producer gives the squabbling cast an ultimatum; Complete one episode overnight or the show dies. But when the director ends up murdered, the other cast members start dropping like flies, it seems like his threat might come true. Its should be a hilarious evening. The tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the library.

As we gear up for BBQ and Brews Fest 2024 I want to take a second to shout out our club for this district award! We made strides in fundraising last year and as a result were able to increase our scholarship for 2024. Thanks to our club members, and partners New Brighton Rotary Club and Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County in making this event possible!

In honor of for the past few years the club members collect cookies and treat our awesome public servants to thank them for all they do for our community. This year we treated the New Brighton Library, Police Department, The New Brighton school District , New Brighton Boro , The Fire Department and The New Brighton Post Office . It was awesome to Take time to say thank you for all they do in our community and to let them know that they are appreciated.

We had a lovely end of the year meeting this week! Congratulations to Hannah Mowry, our scholarship winner!
And congratulations to our new officers, who will do great things for the club and community over the next two years!
