What a day! Canada Day on the Hill reinforced the enduring partnership and strategic relationship between Canada and the U.S. Together with all 12 of our Consuls General from across the U.S., and provincial partners, we met with over 50 members of Congress from the Senate & House, representing 28 states. 🇨🇦🤝🇺🇸

What better way to end a fantastic day than with a little cross-border sports rivalry and hockey diplomacy? Last night we were proud to celebrate the inaugural season of the @thepwhlofficial. We watched two games: Boston at Toronto, and Ottawa at New York. Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) and Congressman Nick LaLota (NY-01) served as honorary team captains for Boston and New York! We’re proud to celebrate a sport that has the ability to unite communities, break down barriers, and foster diversity and inclusion. 🇨🇦🏒🇺🇸 #DYK that @thepwhlofficial set a world attendance record for a women’s hockey game in Ottawa last month attracting a crowd of 19,285? Congratulations! 🌟
