Rev. Dr. Arlester Brown Awarded the Legion of Honor

On June 6th, during commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day landings in Normandy, NUMC member Rev. Dr. Arlester Brown was awarded the Legion of Honor by French President Emmanuel Macron for his service during WWII. Rev. Dr. Brown recently celebrated his 100th birthday. National UMC celebrates these tremendous milestones in his life and is grateful for his continued witness to the presence of Jesus Christ in our world.

The Summer Worship Schedule Begins this Sunday!

May 26 - September 1

Starting Sunday, May 26 there will be a single worship service at the Metropolitan Memorial Campus at 9:00 am.

Sunday school will continue as usual through Sunday, June 16, at 10:00 am.

Summer on the Plaza at Metropolitan Memorial starts June 23, there will be fun activities for all ages through August. There will be music, outdoor games and so much more! Bring your friends and family. ✨🎼

The 9:00 am Metropolitan Memorial service and the 11:00 am Wesley service will both be live-streamed for those who worship remotely.

All are Welcome! 🤗 ✨
