Debuted my Slave Leia cosplay at !!! I was so nervous to do this since 2 1/2 months prior. I just had a baby and wasn’t really comfortable in my body. But everyone from the photographer to the assistants to the ladies were welcoming and supportive, and it was a fun time! Thank you!

Still one of the Most Difficult Cosplay I’ve Recreated!!!
It’s also the first cosplay POST baby I wore to a con- with a corset. But I felt great and great about how far I’ve come in just 2 months!

So a little about the costume:
3 months of continuous beading with my mom of 4-5 different beads and various sizes. All that is sewn to a mesh top (no glue anywhere) then sewn to a stretch canvas that is then sampled in specific places to my corset because I needed to distribute the weight.

Lights in the skirt that I did not light at the con. 7 different chiffon colors.

Jellyfish made with PETG plastic. Then painted and attached lights in the jellyfish and making them look like they float. Also not lit at the con cuz you wouldn’t see them with the bright white lights.

Shells in my wig were made by casting and painted. That’s a process- you can’t just cast and go!
