Behind the scenes from the British television show, Telletubbies, which originally aired from 1997 to 2001.

In real life, the Telletubbies were actually very tall. The oldest, purple Teletubby, Tinky Winky, stood at 10 feet tall (305 cm). The red Teletubby, Po, was 6 feet 6 (198 cm) inches tall. The yellow Teletubby, Laa-Laa, was 6 feet 5 inches (196 cm). The green Teletubby, Dipsy, was 8 feet (244 cm).⁣

The show was filmed on an incredibly large set to create the illusion that the Telletubbies were small. The location of the set was so secret that visitors had to be blindfolded. Eventually, word got out and it became known that a sloping hill on a private field in Wimpstone, Warwickshire in England was the home to "Tubbytronic Superdome". After the show ended, tourists began to flock to the iconic set.⁣

The landowners became fed up with trespassers, stating that "it was never meant to be a tourist attraction. We had people jumping fences, crossing cattle fields and all sorts..."

They ultimately decided to flood the entire set and it has now been underwater for nearly two decades. The set is now occupied by a family of swans and freshwater fish.

Today was one of those rare days where I actually worked from the office instead of my usual, boring bedroom. It was a chance to have lunch outside and interact with real humans – something I’ve missed! If you don’t know this about me already, I love reading people's faces and auras.

The highlight of my day? For lunch, I went to Boqueria Dupont, my favorite Spanish spot on M Street. The host complimented my shirt with the little watermelons on it. Funny enough, I bought it years before the watermelon became an international symbol of solidarity with Palestine.

Her warm welcome and subtle nod to the cause reminded me that even though DC has its share of nasty anti-Palestinian politicians, it’s also home to many free-spirited, kind-hearted people.

Fauci Says Covid-Era Rules About Social Distancing, Masking Children Not Based on Science — 'They Just Sort of Appeared' 06/04/2024

In 2020, I used all of my social media platforms to urge people not to wear the unscientific masks and to stay away from the system’s toxic jabs. Some people listened, while others continued to torture themselves and their children only to end up either dead or permanently injured. Today, the truth is out.

Politicians cling to the expired ‘two-state solution’ as the ultimate and only way to end the Zionist aggression in Palestine. Many people, however, view it as a leeway for ‘Israel’ to keep the status quo.

Moses by Michelangelo is a marble sculpture created in 1513–1515.

One of the numerous intricate aspects of this work of art is a little muscle in the forearms that only contracts when the pinky is lifted; otherwise, it is undetectable. Moses is raising his pinky, so the teeny muscle there is contracted.

The attention to detail is impeccable.

This beautiful tiny iridescent gem is called the Palestine Sunbird. It was declared the national bird of Palestine in 2015 after the Israeli N**i authorities tried to change its name in their efforts to erase Palestinian identity.

The Palestine Sunbird is often found hovering over flowering plants, serving a similar ecological niche as hummingbirds in the Americas, and it stands today as a glorious symbol of freedom, strength, beauty and resistance.

Today, Palestinians are observing Land Day or Yom al-Ard, recalling the events of March 30, 1976, when six unarmed Palestinians were killed and more than 100 injured by Israeli forces during protests against Israel's confiscation of Palestinian land.

And on this day, I’m sharing with you this iconic photograph captured by Abed Alrahim Qusini. It symbolizes the daily struggle of many Palestinian farmers in the occupied West Bank.

On November 27, 2005, Mahfodah Shtayyeh was photographed in the Palestinian village of Salem hugging an olive tree after it was attacked by Israeli settlers. She told Al Jazeera: “I’d raised the tree like my child.”

Over 800,000 olive trees on Palestinian farms have been uprooted by the Israeli authorities and settlers since 1967.

A nation run by bankers will never be out of debt.
A nation owned by weapons manufacturers will never know peace.
A nation that allows a small segment of its citizens to write the laws will never know justice.
And if these elements own the media, we will never know the truth.
