I’m proud to have secured $2.5 million in federal funds to support its development and I’m grateful to Napa County officials for identifying the need for these funds.

Joined APAPA National - Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs' National Youth Leadership Academy to visit with their outstanding young leaders! APAPA’s Leadership Academy supports high schoolers in developing civic engagement and leadership skills. I was honored to be asked to judge their case competition where students develop and pitch a bill to solve a public policy issue.

Visited Clarksburg’s oldest schoolhouse from 1883 which has been restored for our community to enjoy. This refurbishment was a labor of love from many longtime Clarksburg residents and is now contributing to local tourism and education.

Thank you to the team at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano for the tour of your new volunteer center. Each month, the food bank serves 400,000 residents with emergency and supplemental food to ensure everyone in our community has access to the nutritious food they need.
