📣This just in, Google has announced that the new Interaction to Next Paint (INP) metric will become one of the three Core Web Vitals metrics on March 12, 2024. It’s replacing the older First Input Delay metric.

Why should business owners care? GOOD QUESTION.👏 It's because Google cares, and wants your site to score highly on INP, in order to reward you with high search rankings!

A high score is under 200ms for your INP score - which in layman's terms just describes the time it takes for your website to react when a user clicks something.

Recently we've been fielding a lot of questions to do with how the AI movement will impact SEO. And while no one has a crystal ball, we can tell you 2 important things, and quickly. The first is that organic search is not going anywhere, any time soon, and will likely never disappear entirely. And this is primarily because people like to be presented with options, and have agency to choose for themselves what they like. And the second thing is - AI is just another form of organic search! AI is just harvesting it's data from the internet, like a personal assistant, to then serve it to you. And guess what? AI will present users with options to choose from. And it's a matter of optimizing your site and online presence so that you are on top of the list of options AI serves up. So, SEO is not dead, not even remotely. It's just "AIO" is going to become another strategy for on-line success for businesses. Yes we made up "AIO" and who knows what it will be called? But the point is, optimizing for AI search bots will just be another element of your overall on-line marketing strategy. We hope this was helpful!
