Shifting from Criminalization to Compassion: A Livestreamed Panel Event
Join Miriam’s leaders and community experts for "Shifting from Criminalization to Compassion," a live-streamed panel event that will discuss the recent criminalization of homelessness and how it affects our unhoused neighbors in DC. We will touch on topics such as Grants Pass v. Johnson, DC's budget season, and how we can move from criminalization to compassion when approaching the topic of homelessness.

Huge Gaps in the DC FY 2025 Budget
While we're proud of the work we’ve done this budget season, DC’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year (FY2025) falls far short of what is needed to connect our neighbors to life-saving housing and social services. While we are still a long way from adequate investments in ending homelessness, we know the work continues. Learn more about our advocacy work and you can get involved today: https://bit.ly/3yeFHZM
