Historic Community Investments ā
ACEMS recently accepted delivery of two additional Medix RP-90 units provided by Penn Care, that will be complete fleet additions as the needs of our operations and communities increase.
Over the past 36 months, a majority of our operational fleet has been overhauled and replaced with newer, safer, and more efficient units.
Today, we are thrilled to announce a partnership with ZOLL Data Systems that will deliver a state of the art Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to our 24-hour emergency communications center. This technology will improve response times, create a secure connection between our field units and dispatchers, along with ensuring that the right assets arrive in your time of need.
Last month, we announced that we were one of only a handful of EMS agencies in Pennsylvania that were approved to administer prehospital blood for traumatic injuries, postpartum bleeding, and many other critical medical situations.
Combining these investments, we are working around the clock to improve the emergency response model in Washington County.
None of this would be possible without YOUR support!
We are currently engaged in discussions with community benefactors, foundations, and elected officials to ensure that outstanding emergency medical response will be a cornerstone in our area for years to come.

Today, ACEMS Medic 5417 and leadership attended āExploring Nurse Campā hosted by Waynesburg University, Department of Nursing.
This camp is designed for High School students interested in the nursing profession which was attended by participants across three states.
The attendees were able to learn and participate in different parts of the nursing profession and were educated on avenues to pursue within nursing, including the prehospital and emergency medicine routes.
In our efforts to advance the clinical care we provide, ACEMS is thrilled to be the home of many Prehospital Registered Nurses that are integrated into our system to respond to your calls for need every day.
Weāre proud to support all of our partners in both Washington and Greene Counties!
