The message
Welcome to the world baby boy π
Sacred Beginnings introduces another sacred baby to the tribe β€οΈβπ₯πͺπΎπ€°πΎπ₯°
Having a natural birth isn't impossible nor is it rocket science but it's a heck of a lot easier with a doula with experience with all natural child birth. Home birthing is where my heart is but for those who will be giving birth in the hospital, you can still have a natural birth if you're not "high risk". You can call the shots when it comes to how your birth will go in any setting but when you're giving birth anywhere other than your own home, have the conversation BEFORE you show up in labor about what you want and don't want to take place at your birth. This experience is yours and your baby deserves a sacred beginning. The more natural, the more sacred
Having a baby? π€°πΎ
Considering a home birth or a birth in a hospital that is still all natural?
Consulting with a doula (like myself) or a midwife would be necessary for most women unless you're already a birth nerd and childbirth educator like myself π I see a lot of beautiful pregnant women and I pray the best for all of you and your birth experience. May it be everything that you desire β¨

Big baby said hey y'all ππΎ. Long time no hear from as the country folks say. She'll be there big 1 in a few weeks but not until her brother turns the big 3 in a few days. My 2 wild pregnancy babies are growing up fast. Baby girl is crawling but not yet taking steps. She has 4 teeth ( including a cute gap like her daddy folks) π. Where has the time gone? It feels like she was just born ! β¨βΊοΈπ€
Plain Jane
As a home birth doula, please know that we exist. I assist with hospital births also, BUT I highly advocate for home births especially for women of color because statistics show that women of color are 3-4 times more likely to die during childbirth (in a hospital). Black Lives Matter βπΏ I gave birth to my last 2 at home unassisted (without a midwife), just my family and I. If you want a home birth and can't afford a midwife or don't want one, consider hiring a doula for your home birth. I'm located in Eastern North Carolina. Plan the birth that you desire.
It is legal to give birth without a midwife or medical professionals present. Completely Natural uninterrupted childbirth is most likely to be achieved OUTSIDE of a medical setting.
Water birth option are available for all of my clients π

You don't have to apologize for things you say and do while in labor. Childbirth is a beast. We understand π
It's crazy how the products sold to women to amplify beauty is the most toxic and in fact leads to dis ease which leads to death. It's not even worth it sis.
Live to learn how to live naturally and free. That's the goal π―π―
New name, same game π
We at Sacred Beginnings have babies due soon and very soon π€π€β¨ The season is bringing joy and love to homes in the ENC. I'm so grateful to be chosen to help families bring their babies to the earth side. God bless everyone

Raise them to be loyal. Raise them to be dependable. Raise them to be reliable. Raise them to be strong. Raise them to be respectful. Raise them to be lovable and loving. Raise them to be leaders. Raise them to be honest and men of their word. Raise them to be true to themselves and their family. Raise them to be bold and unapologetically black kings π
So true
When somebody tells you that it's risky and not a good idea to have an unassisted home birth (no midwife/doctor present) but you have found a doula that KNOWS THEIR STUFF, has first and second hand experience, supports you when they don't and who has poured extreme confidence and ancestral wisdom in you and now they can't tell you NOTHING ! β¨ππΎππ€ππ€°πΏπ€±πΎ
You can hire a doula, like myself, to assist you at home or in the hospital with breastfeeding after you've given birth, whether you give birth at home or in a hospital or birth center and even if you didn't use a doula for your birth. Whatever the circumstance, if you need help or are concerned about how you'll be producing and maintaining a breastmilk supply for your baby, don't hesitate to get the education and support that you and your family needs. It will not hurt you to learn how to properly latch and hand express milk for your baby because that breast pump ain't all that ππ. But seriously, keep it simple and get back to the basics of breastfeeding/chest feeding. The babies deserve the BEST sis π
$40 for up to an hour per visit and you can experience the difference between a lactation consultant that's going to teach you how to use a breast pump (them) and a true-to-my-roots pro natural birth worker who cares about the generations to come and how we not only feed our babies but nourish them as well as ourselves (THAT'S ME π) π€±πΎπ¦π€π

Your baby will determine when your due date is. The change in estimated due dates by your healthcare provider is evident that you can't always predict the date a baby will be born based off the mom's belly size/height, the baby's growth while in the womb or by the last menstrual period in some cases. You should (1)track your cycles (period) but also (2) track/note the date(s) that you have s*x along with (3) track your ovulation by using an ovulation kit (urine) to know when you're approaching ovulation and ovulation day to get the full fertile window, checking your cervical fluid (with your hand/finger ππΎ. You'll have more clear, stretchy cervical mucus, similar to the clear, stretchy mucus in a cracked egg. This is fertile mucus.) and you can also check your body temperature. You will be slightly warmer, have a higher internal temperature when you're about to ovulate and when you're ovulating. Once you get in tune with your body's changes, inside and out, and if you have a regular period, you'll KNOW when you're approaching ovulation and when you're ovulating.
As a doula, I also provide home and hospital visits to assist with breastfeeding your new baby. This service is not limited to my doula clients so even if I am not your doula, I can assist you with lactation and breastfeeding. Whether the concern is the baby's latch, the amount of milk you're producing, feeling confident breastfeeding in general or what herbs and diet you should intake to support a healthy breastmilk supply. I am a breastfeeding mother and have breastfed all of my children for some time. My last 2 children have been breastfed past 1 year and I have also breastfed during 2 pregnancies. Don't hesitate to reach out and check out all of my services. 2023 has A LOT in store for my mamas and sisters. Thank you all for your trust and love from day 1. I promise it doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated. -Jazzmin π€βΊοΈ
No interventions needed. And I've found that there's only a smell when the placenta is not fully dried and placed inside of something that is not breathable. Meaning the placenta is placed in something such as a plastic bag or something that does not allow air to freely flow in and out. When fully dried and then fully covered with herbs and/or salts, there will be no odor other than the smell of the herbs and or salt.
Once the blood stops the flowing; the cord gets the GOING.ππΎββοΈπ€±πΎπ―
Repost By -
The umbilical cord is designed to vasoconstrict; which means the vein and the two arteries which is inside the cord WILL CONSTRICT OR CLOSE OFF ON ITS OWN once it is outside of the mother's womb and exposed to air. π¬
While this process is happening the baby will be receiving its vital nutritious blood supply and stem cells from their placenta. Yes, that's right: The placenta belongs to the baby.ππ½ββοΈ It was created for the baby with the baby's genetic material and when the baby is born it goes outside with the baby too.
Once the vessels inside of the cord is completely closed the cord will dry up and fall off.ππ
Our bodies and our babies are perfectly designed to get the job done of creation and birth all on its own.ππ½ββοΈπ€°πΎπ€±πΎπ―
