The way HAPPY keeps nuzzling his head into her. ❤️❤️❤️🐶 it takes our breath away. He loves kids! This is the dog whose TX “ owner” kept driving him far far away and releasing him. He ( Happy) kept finding his way back “ home.” The last time took 8 days but he came back and then the owner said he would poison him next time. So we made sure that wouldn’t happen. It is hell on earth for dogs. And the dedicated street rescuers are their angels. This is a female Chihuahua abandoned next to a corn 🌽 field with a cage . She was terrified. It’s hard enough for the big dogs to survive let alone the small ones. Scrounging for anything to eat and drink, evading wildlife predators, feral dog packs, dodging speeding cars and simply surviving the hot summer Texas temperatures. The odds are against the street dogs. When we saw this one posted and help was needed we couldn’t look the other way. We welcomed her with open arms. A foster in Texas also said yes and together she is on her way to a better life. Her name? Well POPCORN 🍿 of course! 😊 We need YOU to be part of her rescue team. This is just too darn cute not to share. EVA watching a movie yesterday with her foster Mom because this heat wave we are having is down right dangerous.
