Courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to rise above it.
'It's All Love': Waterloo, Cedar Falls elementary school students encouraged to spread kindness Joey Bearbower rolled out the first-ever 'It's All Love' project to Orchard Hill and Orange elementary schools as well as at the Boys & Girls Clubs.
KSCo x It’s All Love Project

Mental health has been a challenge for me since I was in high school. I’ve suffered through periods of intense anxiety, mild depression and even a couple moments of suicidal ideation. There were many times I wondered why life felt so hard for me to navigate. It seemed like everyone else was walking around with heads full of with calm, rational, positive, completely in-perspective thoughts—except me.
〰️〰️〰️
But the truth of it? I just wasn’t sharing my struggles with others. And when I started, I realized I was so far from alone.
〰️〰️〰️
And that’s kind of the magic of sharing our struggles with others—it removes the isolation, highlights our similarities and gives us an opportunity to support each other.
〰️〰️〰️
Which is exactly why when Uplift Bear asked if we would help support their “It’s All Love” project we jumped in and created a free digital download of printable notecards for teachers, students and all the humans in between. These little paper high fives are perfect for slipping in lockers, dropping into backpacks and tucking inside notebooks when you see a human who needs a smile. Because when we share and connect with others, we realize we are more similar than different. And most importantly, we understand we are very much not alone.
〰️〰️〰️
“It’s All Love” is a kindness project, presented by Joey Bearbower, that aims to strengthen the power of human connection and make a positive impact by sharing stories that can help improve human relationships and encourage more people to spread love.

Well, that’s exactly what we are doing.
And I can’t wait to share this new project with you tomorrow.
Stay tuned!
New project launching February 1st
“The signs were everywhere.”
This is a true story.
I honestly considered not following through with this project.
And shortly after having this thought, I kept seeing random hearts everywhere I went.
From the soap on the countertop,
To a leaf on the ground,
Even a cut on my finger seemed to be in the shape of a heart.
And believe me, there were more.
It was as if the Universe was trying to tell me something.
Whether it was a sign of love, luck, or simply a reminder to be open to all the possibilities life has to offer, I simply couldn't ignore these signs.

Did you know that less than 10% of people reach their goals each year?
Whether it’s setting unrealistic goals…
Or not keeping track of them…
Or just having way too many…
It’s kind of sad to me that there are only a few that actually follow through.
Long-term goals.
Short-terms goals.
Whatever they may be.
You need to write them down.
Like, literally go grab yourself a pencil and some paper...
And WRITE THEM DOWN.
Then put them in a place where you’re going to see them each and every day.
Write them down on sticky notes and place them on your bathroom mirror.
Grab a magnet and hang them up on your refrigerator.
And if you’re not the "write them down” kind of type…
Then grab your cell phone, open your notes, and hand type them into your device.
Do whatever works best for you.
Just don’t put yourself in a position where you can easily forget about your goals and fall back into your old ways.
If you’re serious about wanting to hit your goals…
THEN PROVE IT TO YOURSELF.
It’s time to get focused.
It’s time to get organized.
And it’s time for you to start following through.
Let’s make 2022 your best year yet.
What other types of strategies would you recommend for effective goal setting?
Watch until the end 👀
Here’s a sneak peek into my creative process.
Let me know what you think!
