APPRECIATION POST. Life gets crazy and gets away from me, I apologize. However, for everyone who has ever purchased a tote or any other item from me, THANK YOU. I always second guess my “art”, I always think the totes aren’t going to be liked, that I charge too much, and that the quality could be a lot better. Over the last week I have heard nothing but positive feedback and that warmed my heart. I went into this craft fair think I might sell one thing, but even if I didn’t sell anything that it would be OK because my mom was there to help me and worst case we just hung out and had fun people watching. Some of the most important people in my life showed up/were already there just to support me and my venture with these tote bags. I did end up selling half of what I brought and took multiple orders afterwards. That got me all emotional because my expectation was $0. So I cannot express enough that if it wasn’t for all of you I wouldn’t be able to do what I do and enjoy creating these totes.

If you have purchased a tote please don’t hesitate to leave an honest review of your initial thoughts, opinion on quality/durability, and anything else you may want to share. Those reviews help others decide whether they would like to shop and join our community or if these totes just aren’t the right fit for them.

There also has been some feedback about the ordering process. I don’t really take orders for much aside from creating a tote and selling after the fact. However, I do understand some people would like to order something of their own creation. So I will be looking into how I can do that while making sense for both the customer and myself. Once that it done it will be listed as the pinned post on my page.

This tote was made to carry you furry loved one with you while out on an adventure or shopping. With a wide opening on the side your pet will be able to lay or stand comfortably and be able to experience and see everything with you. The tote features a built in leash to keep your pet secure inside the tote while in use. A big pocket on the outside is perfect for your leash or any odds and ends and long handles perfect for over the shoulder wear.

Hello All! ☺️

A lot has happened this last week and I just want everyone to be aware to avoid confusion. Down East Apparel’s tote bags will no longer be available at Old Soul Collective in Waterville.

After a change in direction that was out of my control I will be back to selling online… For now! However, in the coming months please keep up to date with any craft fair events I’ll be at if you want to see the totes in person.

My first one is Oct 2nd at the Eagles Club in Skowhegan.

Preorders for these fall inspired totes solely available through Old Soul Collective will begin tomorrow evening at 8PM EST. 😍🍁

There are limited quantities that I will be making of each tote, believe me there will be enough though, however, if you want to secure a tote be sure to head to Old Souls website tomorrow evening to preorder one or ALL of your favorites.. 😬

Any tote that is preordered between 8PM Friday 8/20 through to 8PM Sunday 8/22 will have a matching Bristol Zip Pouch in one of the three coordinating fabrics. So be sure to preorder for the CUTE freebie!

The totes will be available for pick up around September 17th or SOONER. We will keep everyone updated so you know when they are ready for pick up at the store or available for shipping.
