Happy 4th of July! As we celebrate this patriotic day, let’s remember to keep our community safe. The Watervliet Police Department urges everyone to enjoy the festivities responsibly. Here are some important reminders: Don’t Drink and Drive: If you’re celebrating with friends and family, plan ahead for a designated driver or use rideshare services. Let’s keep our roads safe for everyone. Avoid Drinking and Boating: If you’re out on the water, remember that alcohol impairs judgment and coordination. Stay sober while enjoying the beautiful lakes and rivers. Our community’s safety is a collective effort. Let’s make this 4th of July memorable for all the right reasons! 🇺🇸
