This first-ever comic book convention in Waukegan takes place on Saturday, October 16 and Sunday, Oct
Wauke-Con is both a tribute to Ray Bradbury and a fundraiser. Bradbury obsessively scrapbooked comics as a kid, adapted his works into comics in the 50s, and attended every Comic-Con San Diego, starting with the first in 1970 and every year after for the rest of his life. At Wauke-Con we will both honor his memory and raise funds for the museum in his honor.
