Sdn. Jake Jacob Pattarumadathil was betrothed to Christ through the monastic life on September 9th, 2023. He will now be known as "Dayroyo Abrohom Jacob." He has dedicated his life to serving people and God through a life of prayer and contemplation.

Congratulations to Dayroyo Abrohom Jacob on taking the holy vows and becoming a Christian monk. His decision to dedicate his life to God is truly admirable and inspiring.

Dayroyo Abrohom Jacob's spiritual journey began as an altar boy at St. Mary’s Knanaya Church, Chicago. His journey in the monastic life is a profound commitment to a life filled with blessings, peace, and a deeper connection with God. His dedication to this path is a testament to his profound spiritual strength, and we are exceptionally proud of him.

We, the members of St. Mary’s Knanaya Church, Chicago, extend our heartfelt appreciation to his parents, Shiny and Legi Pattarumadathil, for their unwavering support and guidance throughout his spiritual journey. May Dayroyo Abrohom Jacob's life as a monk be continuously filled with blessings and prayers as he embarks on his journey within the monastic brotherhood of the Monastery of the Holy Cross.
