ORT (Odor Recognition Test) Fun Match

DOORS OPEN AND CHECK-IN: 9:30 am

This Odor Recognition Test (ORT) Fun Match will prepare you for taking the actual ORT (or at least run you through what to expect when taking the test). Controlled crating is available in the air-conditioned building in a designated area only. Please specify the odors on which you will be testing on the registration form.

PREREQUISITE: Dogs must be familiar with the odor(s) they are testing on.

Wednesday, June 26, 2024, timeslots available between 6 pm - 8 pm at Think Pawsitive.

Photo sessions can be selected for 1 dog, 2 dogs or 3 or more dogs!
* Distractions will be controlled, no other dogs or long waiting lines.
* Leashes etc. can be removed.

Waggin Wednesday - "Meet Luna"

Luna is a Border Collie/Aussie mix owned by Edward and is approximately 10 months old.

Favorite thing about class/sport/service they participate in: Edward loves to water Luna swim and her drive to keep going. He is very happy with her progress from her first swim to now.

Instructor Carly congratulates Murphy, Maya, Midnight, Freya, Atlas, and Dawn, as well as their owners, on their graduation at 7:30 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from Puppy School.

The puppies learned the basics of crate training, housebreaking, nipping, chewing, jumping, separation anxiety, basic obedience cues, play exercises, self-control games, confidence/focus building exercises and more.

It was so much fun to watch the puppies and handlers build confidence and teamwork in this class. Pawsome job everyone!

Puppy Aquatics for pups 8-16 weeks of age

Take advantage of this Puppy Aquatics classes, just in time for those summer puppies.

CLASS MEETS: Saturday, July 20th and Saturday, July 27th, 2024, at 1:00pm (2 Weeks)

This is a two-week class for puppies to learn to swim, build confidence, and be socialized to our swim center and grooming services. Puppies will be taught to wear a life jacket, develop their swimming technique, and retrieve toys in the water. Motivational games will be used to encourage your puppy to swim enthusiastically. We will also cover proper handling techniques for bathing, drying and brushing out your puppies.

Instructor Carly congratulates the Adult Manners students that graduated at noon on Sunday, June 1, 2024.

Bella, Louie and Nueske, as well as their guardians, did an absolutely pawsome job of perfecting the skills learned in Adult Manners. You can tell from week-to-week how hard they practiced at home and their hard work and effort paid off.

Jump, Run, Wag: Agility Pups! (1 week)

Join us for a one-week puppy agility class! During class, you will get to try a variety of fun and challenging obstacles such as tunnels, puppy jumps, wobble boards, all designed to enhance your pups coordination, agility and problem-solving skills.

Puppies between the ages of 12 weeks and 11 months may participate in this exciting class.

Come join us for Dock Diving Class on June 14th, from 12pm to 1pm.

This session is for dog and handler teams who are already jumping off the dock. The instructor will help you troubleshoot your Throws, Toy Tracking, and More. Each team will receive 2-3 times on the dock.

Prerequisite: Dogs must have participated in Think Pawsitive’s Snowball Splash League, competed with Pier Pups, UAD, Dock Dogs or NADD OR have completed a private lesson or Dock Diving Evaluation and received instructor approval.
