Farewell Announcement.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of Onora Suites on April 29, 2024. Over the past four years, we've had the privilege of hosting incredible individuals, and we're immensely grateful for the support and love we've received. Onora Suites consistently ranked at about 4.8 stars in reviews, a testament to the memorable experiences we aimed to provide to each and every guest.
Our decision to close stems from the challenging financial landscape imposed by city policies, as communicated by the city inspector. Despite our efforts to navigate these obstacles and contribute positively to the Downtown project, we found ourselves constrained by regulations that didn't align with the promises made to businesses and the community.
Nonetheless, we take pride in what we've achieved. Transforming a neglected building into a Boutique Hotel, albeit operating below our desired capacity, was a significant accomplishment. We're grateful for the opportunity to have breathed new life into a space that hadn't seen activity in half a century.
As we bid farewell to Onora Suites, we look forward to new beginnings. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming projects! In the meantime, we invite you to visit Venado for a delightful glass of wine or simply drop by for a chat. Your continued support means the world to us.
