C4 Her College Tour is off to an amazing start! Our first stop was Paul Quinn College, a private historically black Methodist college in Dallas, Texas. Paul Quinn is affiliated with the African Methodist Episcopal Church and holds the distinction of being the oldest historically black college west of the Mississippi River. It’s also the nation’s first urban work college! The girls were incredibly engaged, soaking in the rich history and vibrant campus life of Paul Quinn. They eagerly participated in discussions, asked insightful questions, and began envisioning their futures. Many of them are now excitedly thinking about what they want to study in college.
