The women of Tabernacle's Anchor of Hope Sunday School class decided they could meet once a month and form an assembly line to sew flannel receiving blankets and burp cloths for the babies of FirstLook. This productive "Blanket Brigade" now includes women from multiple churches, and they are so excited and blessed that God has chosen them to be His hands and feet for this project. The fellowship among Christian ladies is much needed and so encouraging. Anyone wishing to join in may contact Christina at 469-530-4908.

FirstLook - The Looking Glass murals
FirstLook was designed to look and feel like a home so all would feel welcome and supported here. Artist, Cindy Mayfield volunteered her time and talents to help make The Looking Glass baby boutique a special shopping experience for our clients. Thank you, Cindy!

Joshua Southerland, a local 16-year-old baker donates bread to FirstLook.
Joshua Southerland, a local 16-year-old baker, received a donation from one of his regular customers who instructed him to "pay it forward" by choosing a non profit to donate his homemade bread to. Joshua chose to give to FirstLook because he believes in our mission to embrace life and help preborn babies and their families. Joshua is quite a special young man and we were excited to be the recipient of his delicious bread!

LIFE, Liberty and Happiness FirstLook Parade Float!
Many FirstLook babies, clients, volunteers, donors, staff, and board members marched with our LIFE, Liberty and Happiness 4th of July Parade Float! This was our very first time to build a float and participate in the Waxahachie parade, so we were shocked and thrilled to win the first place blue ribbon! A giant THANK YOU to ALL the hands, hearts and hours to make this happen! To God be the glory and God Bless America!
