What is The Russian Raf?
It is an extra creamy & sweet espresso latte.
"Our recipe was originally from Beth's old boss at Gateway. They served a TON of these for a special event."

What's the story behind the Raf!?👇🏼
"The story of Russian Raf coffee began in the mid-1990s at the Moscow coffeehouse "Coffee Bean". Rafael Timerbaev, a regular customer who preferred his coffee with milk, asked the barista for "a good cup of coffee with milk". In response, baristas Gleb Neveikin, Artem Berestov, and Galina Samokhina experimented with ingredients and created a new drink by adding cream and sugar to an espresso and then steaming it. Timerbaev began ordering the drink regularly, and other customers soon followed, asking for "the same coffee as for Raf". The drink was eventually named "Raf coffee" or simply "Raf" after the customer, and became popular in coffeehouses throughout Russia."
