2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us.. Dennis and Gary played guitar and Buck played bass guitar.
In August of 1974, the Ambassadors for Christ gospel group was formed, taking the name from II Corinthians 5:20. The original members were Dennis Tucker, and Gary and Jeff Weaver. Joining later were John (Buck) Buchanan and Donnie Tennant, in 1975 and 1976, respectively.
