I also get asked all the time about PDO threads. I do not do, nor will ever do them. I’ve seen enough patients over the years who have all said they haven’t been happy with the result of threads because of 2 main reasons:
1. They didn’t see any result past the initial swelling.
2. They had some type of complication such as skin dimpling and threads coming out of the skin.
They do not replace a surgical face lift. If you go in for a non-surgical treatment, but expect surgical intervention outcomes, you’re going to be very disappointed with the results. I know some people who have paid up to $10,000 for threads. For the price, personally, I would put this towards the cost of a surgical face lift, but I do understand some people who just don’t want to go down the surgical path. Just don’t be disappointed your results didn’t last.
Thanks to @dramirkaram for this informative post. We all know I love a study!

1 syringe of filler is NOT a lot! A great treatment result usually takes multiple syringes and types of filler to balance, lift and contour. #Repost @uy.np with @withregram ・・・ Client says 1 syringe of filler is a lot, ketchup bag says mehhh @thiendam edit credit 🙏 #dermalfiller #filler #lipfillers #pout #cosmeticinjectables #lipinjections #perfectlips #lipsonpoint #lipenhancement #cosmeticnurse #lipinjections
Beautifully explained quick education! There is no one magic treatment...it takes multiple things (tox, filler, skincare, lasers, etc) for the absolute best results! Think of it like makeup- you can’t do the same things with mascara and lipstick right? They address different issues! Posted @withregram • @mdcosmeticinjections ✖️CROWS FEET & VOLUME LOSS✖️ Have you ever had your crows feet injected and wondered why the wrinkles were still there running down the cheekbone? Often, it’s due to lack of volume in the area, which helps support the skin. When we age, even from our late twenties, collagen production starts to slow, and the fat pads start depleting. Loss of volume under the skin can result in loss of support for the skin. This is why we use dermal fillers - to replace lost volume. If you try and inject too much anti-wrinkle, and too low down, on a mature patients crows feet, if there’s lack of support, along with loose skin, you can end up with an issued called “shelving”. This is not an aesthetically pleasing look. The cause of the issue must be address to achieve a desired outcome. This can mean multiple treatment modalities. . . . . .
