I’m highly regarded for share textile arts made by Mexican artisans and designers with my community, wishing to spread the beauty of my culture while preserving pre Hispanic techniques created by our Aztec and Mayan ancestors. They were known for their ability to hand weave textiles with natural fibers such as cotton and agave fibers, creating very valuable textiles frequently used as an exchange for luxury objects.
One of the most emblematic examples is the “Códice Borgia”-
An Aztec manuscript representing PRECIOUS designs with a deep cultural and Religious meaning.
