This sweet pansy painting has been sitting on the window sill in my studio because I was thinking it wasn't quite finished. New eyes looked at her today, and I realized she was already just right!
Sometimes, walking away for a bit is the best thing we can do!

My sweetest nest is on her way to her forever home!
So cozy..so delicate..and painted with only a teeny feather!

Painting outside yesterday was truly inspiring, and I enjoyed it so much! April amazes me in this beautiful valley! The mountains still have snow on them...the fruit trees are blooming, and the hills are green! I can never get over it!
