Tonight I experimented with cutting acrylic. Some colors worked and others didn’t with the settings I tried. I have a diode laser so I knew going into it that cutting certain colors of acrylics would be an issue. So far I’ve had success with black and red. Overall I’ve been having fun seeing what can be done with the laser cutter.

For years I have been dreaming of buying a laser cutter. I’ve researched brands, followed groups on Facebook, played around with my friend’s laser cutter. Recently I saw a great deal on a xtool m1. I kept going back and forth on whether I should get it or not. I pretty much probably annoyed my husband and coworkers trying to decide the pros and cons… Eventually I decided just to get it. This weekend we got everything set up that I needed to start creating and using the machine. I’m actually really happy with the machine so far. It’s actually a lot faster than I thought it would be and the program is really easy to use. Here are some photos of some of the things I created so far this weekend. I’m excited to see where this machine takes me and what the finished products look like.

Sorry I missed a couple days of posting some new work for sale. Today will be snail day haha. I now create 3 different sizes of snails. I’m attaching a photo for reference so everyone can see how the snail sizes compare. The teeny tiny snails are the smallest that I make. I took photos with them next to a ruler so you have an idea on size.

I’m a big cat lover and wanted to create some fun cat pieces 💕 I created these fun miniature cat vase magnets that you can hang on your fridge. A lot of the dried flowers in the resin were grown in my home garden. Each piece comes with a package of dried flowers. The small globes are made out of glass. New holographic resin pieces. I found these really interesting holographic molds from an Italian designer. I thought they looked different and I wasn’t exactly sure how they would work. Today I had a little bit of time to try them out. I’m still a little amazed how they turned out. Now I wish I bought more molds haha. Maybe I should finish making these into earrings before ordering more molds 😂
