We are a group of parents who care and get involved with our children's school.
PTO gives parents and teachers the opportunity to work as a team to benefit Decorah students and our community. We have fundraisers to help purchase school equipment and classroom supplies, but we also organize family fun nights, book fairs, create a yearbook, and provide other events for people to celebrate and come together. Hey Decorah Families! Cousins restaurant night is next week Wednesday! Add it to your calendar and make sure you grab subs for the family that night! Decorah will get 15% of sales from 3-8pm!
🎉♥️📚Teacher Appreciation Week🎉♥️📝
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10. We do our best to give the staff of Decorah an amazing week to show how grateful we are for all they do for our kids. Over the course of the week, we will be spoiling Decorah teachers with lunch, bagels, plants, trail mix AND a chance at “winning big.”
We have several ways in which you can help us make this week a success. The first is to help provide a great trail mix bar. Please use this Trail Mix Bar Sign Up (https://1a0a.edulnk.com/e/18ys9/j9nqae?__$u__ ) if you’re interested in donating goodies or assisting with setup/cleanup of the bar.
We have several other opportunities listed below. Please email [email protected] if you can help with any of the following:
1. Clean up lunch on Monday, May 6 at 1:45 p.m. We would love two parents to help with this.
2. Pick up bagels from Panera Bread and set them up at Decorah on Tuesday, May 7 by 8:00 a.m.
3. Clean up bagels on Tuesday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m.
Dawn will provide more information regarding each of the options via email.

Please join us for an hour of fun at Decorah tonight, March 14th! Doors open at 5:45 with bingo starting at 6:00pm. After a few bingo games, we’ll transition to other board games and a snack! We hope to see you there!

Kringle pick up is this Wednesday, March 6th from 3:45-6. Please wait for all busses to clear out before entering the school.

Family Game Night 🎲♟️🧩♣️♥️♠️👨👩👧👦
Come and join us from 6-7pm (doors will open at 5:45) for Game Night on March 14th, 2024 for an hour of screen-free, quality time with your children along with other Decorah families!
This year, the PTO has decided to welcome back this special event. We plan to start the evening with a friendly game of BINGO and then close the night with playing a variety of classic board games. We will need some additional help from the parents.

Thanks to all who came out to our
Trunk or Treat turned “Hall”oween event last night!! 🎃 We had a great turn out despite the threat of rain, and we’re so grateful for the “trunks”, trick or treaters, and everyone’s flexibility!! 👻 Happy Halloween!
There is still time to sign up to have a trunk at Decorah’s trunk-or-treat on Thursday, October 26 from 6:00-7:00pm
We are in need of more trunks! A decorated trunk can be as simple or elaborate as you want!!! It’s more fun with a lot of trunks to trick-or-treat to! 🍬🎃🍭

Hello Decorah Families,
On Thursday, October 26 from 6:00-7:00pm, PTO will host our annual Trunk-or-Treat event in the back parking lot at Decorah Elementary. This event is for Decorah Families ONLY!!! Students will dress up in their Halloween costume and trick-or-treat to decorated trunks!
Please use the sign-up genius (above) to sign up to decorate your trunk, donate some candy to share with the trunks if you cannot do a trunk of your own, and/or to help volunteer the night of the event! We appreciate any donations of candy, money, or time! This is always such a family favorite event at Decorah and the more trunks we have, the better. We hope to see your family there!

🍕 Today's the day! Head to Little Caesars for dinner tonight! 10% of all sales will be donated back to Decorah. 🍕
Fall fundraiser is happening right now! You should have received a packet earlier this week with materials. This is one of our largest fundraisers and raises money for all of our annual events - teacher appreciation week, end of year Bash, Little Shoppers, just to name a few. We are always looking for ways to make our great school even better and the fundraising is how it happens!
Forms are due on October 4th and can be sent to school with your child. Items can also be purchased online and sent to family and friends who are not local. Thank you for all your support!
