Big Darrell's Fixings
Big Darrell's Fixings is a page to share my products and recipes I enjoy.
After a good day at Irons Fruit Farm wanted to bake a pizza on the Z grill with a drizzle of hot honey from Honey & Bourbon Beeworks. Delicious!
Come out for some burgers and corn 10-5 today. I hear that the sauce, and pickled onions available at the grill are pretty good.
Hope to see you Saturday or Sunday!
Had some fun with my cold pickle onion and jalapeno recipe. Made some cold packed pickles. They were a hit at several cookouts this weekend. They are not sweet, and not dill, just crispy and tasty. I will hopefully have some for you to sample at Irons Fruit Farm July 20th and 21st. Hope to see you there.
Thank you everyone that came out today and made today a great market.
I will be at Irons Fruit Farm July 20th and 21st next. Hope to see you there.
Spread the word we are all still here and the weather is clearing up!
9-3 today.
This Sunday is Cinco de Mayo. Stop by my booth to pick up a crockpot Carnitas Rub and recipe to make your own tacos.
Tomorrow will be the 1 year mark for starting this crazy adventure of Big Darrell's Fixings. Hope to see you at Niederman Family Farm Finds on the Farm Spring Craft Show

Great place for your flower needs! The owners are good people.

Eggs with chopped brisket, hashbrowns, shredded cheddar cheese and topped with Big Darrell's Bourbon BBQ sauce.
Celebrating with home-made pretzel squares.

Tomorrow at Niederman Family Farm Fall Finds I will not be having any Whiskeyaki or Bourbon BBQ sauce to sell. While loading for the market we had an shelf malfunction and I lost all jars.
I will be there with Tammy's Scrabble, Cold Pickled Onions, and Carnita seasoning.
My deepest apologies.
Thank you to Irons Fruit Farm for hosting a great weekend and allowing me to share my sauce with their guests at the grill. Thank you also to all those that stopped by my table for samples. It won't shock anyone that knows me how much I enjoy talking to people at the markets.
I not only enjoyed the people stopping by for a sample, but also speaking with other vendors and learning from their experiences. Stacy’s Succulents to Go and Give me a Sign were two such vendors that had great booths, and they were also enjoyable to chat with during the down times. Please take some time and check out their pages.
Thank you all that made it out to see me yesterday!
Today I will be here 12-5. As an extra bonus, come out and grab roasted corn with a burger or hotdog. I have donated Big Darrell's BBQ sauce and pickled jalapenos and onions as condiments.

This product means the most to me over all my others.
Tammy was my mom and Scrabble was what she called it growing up.
When she passed I began carrying on the tradition of Scrabble for the family especially at the holidays.
When I started this adventure I wanted to share her Scrabble with others, and honor her memory. Thus, Tammy's Scrabble!
Many people make this around the holidays but I feel safe in saying they are not like my mom's.
Please stop out and have a sample at Iron Fruit Farm and see for yourself.
This is my original sauce. It has bold and unique flavors that many have enjoyed.
A few things I enjoy with this sauce include:
Bacon BBQ and Blue Cheese Burgers.
BBQ Chicken Enchiladas.
And my favorite is Sloppy Joe's. See the recipe in the comments section below.
***New***
Available July 22nd and 23rd at Iron Fruit Farm's Corn Roast.
This sauce is great for marinating, grilling and stir fry. My favorite recipe is to use it on Chicken Philly Cheesesteaks made on the Blackstone.
Come out and sample this new sauce and my other items.
