This cross was customized to honor the customer's coworker. Our crosses make great gifts and we can make them personal for that perfect touch!

The bottom of this table is live edge- meaning the legs needed some help! We machined pockets into the bottom of the slab to give the legs an even, flat surface to mount on. Next step is finish!

Today we focused on flattening the poured resin. Here we see the table really come to life!

We sealed the carving with quick set white epoxy. This seals the carved river and provides a light undertone for the edges that will look like waves. Then we built several blue layers to fill the river area and knot.

This week we are kicking off a commission piece for an end table. Our customer provided the piece of wood and wanted a "Caribbean blue" river to cover the knot. Our first step was to power carve the rest of the river!

Live Edge Walnut Coffee Table This coffee tables features a clear resin pour for a "look in" on a knot from a walnut tree. It is elegant with black hairpin legs that accent the rich color of the wood.

We're working on resurfacing this table top after the resin work. This makes the top flat and the resin perfectly even with the wood. Although there are several techniques for this step, we're using a router sled.

Next up is the resin pours for the maple coffee table and end table set. We went with a coppery resin pigment that will accent the natural reds in the maple. We also filled all.of the worm holes with black epoxy.

Check out the resin work on this walnut coffee table! First we sealed the knot damage area to prevent air bubbles in the main pours. We laid a black substrate and finished with clear. This will let you see the orginal knot and grain in the finished table!

We have these 2 live edge slabs to create a walnut coffee table and a maple coffee table/end table set! These will be on display at Irons Fruit Farm corn roast festival 7/20-7/21 in Lebanon, OH. Come see the final piece in person and maybe take one home with you!

Our roots in woodworking start with 4-H. Today we got the chance to give back to the program by helping our nephew with his woodworking project!
